Where did Satan first go to when he was cast out of heaven? (Part 1 of 3).
What I understand from this Brother Eli's video:
I had always thought, like many other Christians that Satan was already cast down on earth. However, the exposition of Revelation 12: 5-9 by Brother Eli has changed that. That passage is narrating a future event, and not a past one.
It's a story of a woman that would give birth to a male child who would rule the world with an iron rod. But Satan wanted to kill the child, and the woman ran away under the protection of God. She was to be protected for a period of 1,260 days.
This caused a war between the angels led by Michael on one hand, and those led by Satan on the other. Satan lost the battle and was chased out of heaven.
If we realise that this is a future event, it would help us to see that Satan had not been cast out of heaven as many of us erroneously think.
