What is the proper way of teaching children about the church? Part 2 of 2

Good morning bible readers, am writing this in response to the question above.
It is such a blessing to have the opportunity to raise children. As a parent it is important to have a close relationship with God and have faith in God so you can extend or pass on that spiritual heritage to your children it is very important. As Christian parents, teaching children about God is the most important task we have.
More than ever our kids need a solid biblical foundation for knowing how to study the Bible and how to have a relationship with God! We must teach our kids to fall in love with Jesus and to build their confidence and self-esteem on their value in Christ.
But teaching kids about the Bible (and about God himself) is about so much more than taking them to church once a week.
Model what a christian should look like, dress like, walk like, behave like, etc. The bible speaks about how God is holy and encourages us to be holy too. Yes we will never be as perfect as Christ was but being holy doesn't mean perfection like our saviour Jesus. But at least our daily activities, the way we interact with neighbors, family members, strangers, church members etc should be Godly because, children learns things they see faster than what you tell them. So whatever we teach them or tell should be reflecting in our lives. Our children will certainly know that we are not perfect but they should know that we are trying to live a Christ like life, Both in our daily activities and on Sundays.
Spend time on your own with the Lord.
Be with Jesus during the day, while the kids are there. Pray out loud for your needs. Talk to Jesus when they’re listening. Read a verse out loud. You can learn while they learn.
