Help From Above
The scene of the world have changed from bad to worse. Things are difficult for everyone. The necessities are costly and hard to find. Insecurity is the norm of the day. Prostition, drug, armed robbery, kidnapping etc are graduating from what we know to the next level which is more dangerous than before. One hardly know peaceful state again. Wars and cries of battle have taken peace away! Listen to almost all the source of news, the messages hardly makes us happy again!
Where will our help comes from?
Psalmist's ask same question at Psalm chapter 121:1-2 that says "I will look intently on mountains, where will my helps comes? My helps comes from Jah, the maker of heaven and Earth" The mountains always represent Authorities or holy place of worship in the Bible. These authorities can be a source of hope and rescue but to the psalmist, he/she could not find any solace or relief from the serious problems faced. Later, it was reassuringly to him/her that Jah is the absolute helper and he is powerful than any of his/her problem because he is the creator of heaven and Earth. Today, we have mountains where we look forward for helps. For instances; Authorities of the world are really trying their best for peace and good condition for all but it's not happening. Scientists keep improving the skills and works but diseases keep killing us! World of commerce and economy can't be trusted. Agriculture keep producing less food despite improved seedling, chemical and machineries. Jah have not changed and he will help us as he do to the psalmist. Let's just believe, hopeful and prayerful.
