Bible references: Matthew 28:19-20, John 8:31

According to this video from our amazing brother Eli, I have come to realize that when it comes to the studying of God's word, it cannot be measured by time. The word of God is not mere words like you find in other books. With other books, you can read it a number of times and comprehend what's it's all about completely.

But when it's comes to the word of God, the same thing doesn't apply. The word of God is something you continue in. You stay with the word of God. You don't read it and dump in the shelf like you do to other books when you're done with them. Brother Eli makes a reference to John 8:31 (NIV):

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

What Jesus uses to categorize his disciples in this verse are those who hold to his teaching. Jesus' teaching can also be referred to the word of God, because everything he ever taught while he was on earth was to the glory of His Father.

Jesus told us here to hold to His word. In other words, he wants it to be a part of us. The Bible which contains the word of God is an extraordinary Book that is why we shouldn't study it like a usual book. If we study it in that manner, it will not profit us much. Maybe an average book may do much for us if we study it like that, but not the word of God.

The Word of God is what we should spend our whole lifetime studying. For every portion we come across in the Bible, more revelations are opened up to us; that's just how the Word of God works. Just when you think you've accessed a message from it, you'll find yourself accessing another greater message another time you come across it.

The Bible can use just a verse to unveil multiple revelations to you. But this can only happen when you stay with the Word of God. The Word of God is something that you need to give your devotion to.

You can never learn or master it completely no matter how much you study it; it's quite a mysterious book.
Brother Eli encourages beginners to get involved in the Mass Indoctrination program. Personally, I can attest to the reformation the program provides. It's a program you won't regret being a part of. It's actually something you'll be glad you decided to be a part of.

The hosts of the program don't just stop with making you hear the word of God. They also teach you how to apply it, which is the main thing. For everything you learn from the word of God, the next thing for you to do is to observe everything you've learned.

This is my understanding from this video. Thank you, brother Eli! Thank you, @hirohive.
