Being a peacemaker according to the Bible (part 1 of 4)

There are two things we can do: choose what is evil or what is good, we are free and such freedom is given to us. Studying our physical being, due to science there are regions of the brain that dictate through the hypothalamus, that we have a special attention for a thing or that dissuade us from having an attention for a particular thing.

As humans, we have things that we considered important to our lives, we desire things. To something like that, the brain is just like a computer programmed by human and what is in the computer depends on the programmer of the computer. The computer does not have the information unless a human encodes all those things in the computer. Human as the computer, there are two encoders one is God and the other is the arch-enemy of God we have to understand that.

There is a power that is paramount and there is one that should not be, and that is the power of Satan. As the power was given and misused by satan, it exists and we cannot eradicate everything. God will come to the point that he will eradicate everything evil but this people did not have an understanding that there is an appointed time for judgment. We have no power to force everything to happen now because God has appointed it. Let's take a look at the book of Acts chapter 17 verse 31 which says, "When God raised Jesus from the dead, it was his assurance that every man that existed on earth would face judgment through the Lord Jesus Christ, there will be judgment and it is inevitable".

It is just inevitable just as our death as seen in the book of Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27 which says "if you cannot escape death, you also cannot escape judgment. Everyone will face judgment, in the book of John chapter 5 verses 28 to 29 says there will be resurrection. Every person who has died before the judgment will be resurrected on the judgment day. In the book of Revelation chapter 20 verse 11, it says "So there is judgment" Therefore before judgment day our freedom remains, let's go through Deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 19, as we live, we have two choices which are blessing and cursing, life and death so we are free to choose anyone.

We have two choices because there are two things we can do that is, do what is evil or do what is good the choice is ours to make. Paul the apostle said to the people of Galatian in Galatians chapter 5 verse 13 "We are called unto liberty" that is we have the power to do what is good likewise we have the power to do what is wrong, what is bad, and what is evil and that is the reality of life. This is why no one can easily eradicate the evil in the world now until judgment day comes and that is why we are living in a world where humans have their own choices and desires in life.
