Mass indoctrination Day 4 Live on Zoom

Prayer is not something that is easily done, there is discipline, a method for us to pray.

Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Acts 1:24
And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,

Prayer is a supplication we make to God, and not for us to be telling stories, like when the apostles sorting a replacement for Judas who had betrayed Jesus, they prayed specifically for their needs and their prayer was answered as the lot fell upon Mathias.

Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

We should be precised in our request to God, and we shouldn't be telling stories while we want to pray.
The form of prayer that was thought to us is not in the Bible.
Prayer is asking from God and not using vain repetitions or story telling.

Mathew 15:36
And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

Even in eating we should give thanks to God and receive everything in thanksgiving.

1 Timothy 4:4-5
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Prayer is requesting from God or a petition to God.

Luke 18:3-7
And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

We are to pray day and Night

1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.

2 Timothy 1:3
I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

We should pray day and Night, because there are alot of things that has happened to alot of families while they were sleeping.

Praying to God day and night can do a great deal in our lives, these doesn't mean we should be praying with vain repetitions day and night.

A prayer should be simple, we should make our word few.
We should make our words as few as possible, we should not use vain repetitions

Ecclesiastes 5:2
Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

Mathew 6:6-8
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

2 Timothy 2:22
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

One calls unto God must be with a pure heart.

1 Peter 3:10
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

If a person praying has a wicked heart, and he is evil, then his prayers can't be heard.

Proverbs 15:8
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord : but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

Acts 24:16
And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

It is necessary that our hearts be void of offence towards God or towards men.
If not God will not listen to our prayers.

Mathew 15:19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Jeremiah 17:10
I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

1 Peter 3:7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

As couples we are to be good and kind to one another, loving respecting and honouring your wife, so that your prayer will be answered.

John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

God listens to a man who has no evil heart.

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

2 chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
