There is a discipline we should mentain while praying.
Praying or prayer is not a narrative or story telling and our request should be made known to GOD because prayers or praying is making requests from GOD.
A prayer is also referred to as a petition from GOD.
We should always ask for what we need at the time we need it just like how the apostles prayed to GOD when they needed a replacement for judas iscariot.
In nothing we are told not to be anxious but make our request be made known unto GOD through prayer and supplication coupled with thanksgiving.
When we pray we should believe that what ever we are praying for will be given us by GOD,that we will receive because faith is one important key factor to receive from GOD.
We should not tell stories when we pray and we should not pass on our obligation to mary to pray.
Mary is still dead and she is not yet resurrected and she is not even permitted to pass your request to GOD.
Story telling during prayer is in vain.
Doing repetition during prayer is not right.
It is GOD’s commandment for us to bless the food before we eat just like JESUS CHRIST did when he performed the miracle of feeding a whole multitude of people.
Nothing is to be refused if it is taken or given with thanksgiving because every creature of GOD that he said it is for food is good.
The food we eat,if we pray and give thanks to GOD for,the food becomes sanctified and blessed.
We should pray always and not once in a while or only when we need GOD or His help,some people can’t go a day without their phone but these set of people can go a week or a month without praying and this is wrong.
We have been commanded to pray always or pray without ceasing and this message that pray in the morning,pray in the noon and pray at night and do this always and every day of our lives.
We should cultivate the habit of praying always and be thankful at all times.
Praying to GOD day and night can do a great deal in our lives.
A prayer should be straight to the point and of course conscise and our words should be few and we should not be in a rush to speak during prayers and we should make it as brief as possible because GOD knows everything you want and need even before you speak.
So
Our prayers should be straight to the point,brief and concise.
For our prayers to be answered,we must do so out of a pure heart and whoever calls on GOD with a filthy heart wont have his prayers answered.
The righteous has the full attention of GOD but the unrighteous has no attention from GOD and they are on their own and evil things can come their ways at all times.
For our prayers to be held by GOD our conscience must be void of offense.
The heart of man is where evil things are conceived and things like theft,blasphemy,fornication are the things that defile a man but eating with unwashed hands don’t defile a man.
The heart is deceitful above all things and it is only GOD that can see the heart and know it s contents.
Before we pray,we have to cleans our tongues. There are some people whose tongues speak lies and GOD doesn’t listen to a tongue that lies or that speaks hypocrisy.
