It has been a while sharing my blog to @mcgi.cares Community. I believe this is another great opportunity to share this important post which would be very beneficial to our young Sisters and Brothers who may be inexperienced when it comes to sexual activity stuff!
This week we have been blessed and with great opportunity to have very powerful Scripture Union Members who came all the way from Kumasi and Mampong to have a talk with our students on the "Sexual Purity."* I believe this is one of the challenges that our youth go through due to peer pressure and a lot of bad lifestyle the youth have been exposed to. We as parent, Social Counsellors, Anointed Man of God are there to educate them and show them the right path so that they aren't fall victim with some of these immoralities.
As SU ( Scripture Union) Patron in my school, I had a chat with the SU members last week to come and educate our young students on Sexual purity, the way we can be of help to the society. We know that when it comes to sex, our young boys and girls are vulnerable to the societies in which they live. We need to encourage them the need to keep their bodies pure from sexual abuses. So, when they accepted to come and help, the Programme commenced at exactly 8:00 am when we mounted the projector on banner screen to help the students with some slides of pictures and texts to elaborate cogent information on sexual purity.
The students were assembled in form 3 class ready to list to the talks on Sexual Purity. Mr. Harrison was the the Spoke person to deliver on the Sexual Purity education. He uses practical demonstration of pure water in the sachet by punched on one side as the first time when student's virginity is broken, the hymen is teared. It means it has tempered.He punched for the second time and then many times and asked the students what has happened to the sachet water. The students replied that many destruction has been caused to it and that explains how when a girl's virginity is broken for the first time and if she allow herself for penetration on several times. The body is finally destroyed.
Our supportive verse from the Scripture was taken from 1st Thessalonians 4:3-7 (NIV)
It reads:.....
"It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life."
Not only the physical body is destroyed but also the spiritual being and bond between you and God is damaged when we allow ourselves for sexual immorality to take control. Many of our blessings are shield due to sexual immoralities as we have not being married.
Does God Hate Sex Because of Sexual Immorality?
That isn't God intention to hate sex because of sexual immorality that some people have been indulging themselves, or the mere fact that the youth of today are being influenced by sex while they have not reached that stage. Through sex, "God fulfills his promises." Since it is God who said in the beginning of His Creation that we should give birth and fill the space of universe. So, sex is needed for procreation. Humans are needed on Earth to worship God and witness about the great things God Almighty has done. To impact the knowledge God Almighty gave us on others to be able to leave a worthy lives.
Why are young people crazy about sex?
We have the desire to do all things, but not all things are good for us to do. Our organisms, libido and hormonal growth might influence us sometimes, but we can control ourselves through the Holy spirit presence. Our bodies would be fighting against us pushing us to do something immorality, but the scripture is there to guide us if we really read and pray to God to give us strength to be able to control ourselves. For instance, if our weaknesses are bad companies, peers and indulging in some sexualities, we can let the scripture to guide us or seek some Counselling to help us.
Many boys and girls fall victim of some sexual abuses like rapes, Father to daughter sex or Brother to sister sex and defilement. Many of these abuses is due to allowing ourselves for demons to control us. Not only girls who are affected through this sexual abuses, but most boys are also affected just that theirs are minimal compared to the girls.
Some footnotes and piece of advice to rap up.....
As children of God as you are students, God can use you for so many things. Why do you want to destroy your future and opportunities God wants to avail for you? You need not to rush things which at the end will not help you. Some of you are Apostles, Pastors, Bishops and great people like Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers and Teachers, we therefore need to preserve our identity and good morals that our children will also emulate in future. This is the time to remain very pure for God Almighty. Thanks for your attention!
