These are the things I learnt from the prayer meeting:
Our principal enemy is the devil.
We should not believe every spirit, there are spirit that are our enemy.
1 Peter 5:8
[8]Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
If a person return to God and baptized, the unclean spirit will go out of you. There are unclean spirit seeking for rest, the prey they are looking for is a place without water.
1 John 4:1
[1]Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Those who are looking for unclean things will get it, evil spirit will be able to dwell in an empty place.
Matthew 12:43-45
[43]When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
[44]Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
[45]Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
Keeping the word of God will keep the evil spirit away.
2 Corinthians 11:14-15
[14]And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
[15]Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
We should learn to sing spiritual songs and gather the doctrine to keep evil spirit away, we should also exort one another with the doctrine of God.
Acts 12:24
[24]But the word of God grew and multiplied.
Psalms 40:8
[8]I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
The work of the devil is to take away the heart that the word is out, the heart that is good ground keep the word and it should be kept carefully.
Psalms 119:11
[11]Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
If your heart is not watered evil spirit get in. Singing spiritual songs is not in vain, there's an enemy to drain the doctrine so evil spirit can come in, you will loose your faith and be blinded.
1 Samuel 16:23
[23]And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.
2 Corinthians 4:4
[4]In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The word of God is a sword, what you have is a sword, we can be justified before God to do righteousness.
Ephesians 6:17
[17]And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Hebrews 4:12
[12]For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
