Lessons learnt from yesterday's Bible study.
Bro Eli's taught us in yesterday's Bible study that we must warn the wicked people to turn away from their wickedness. Ezekiel 3:17-19 KJV
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. [18] When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. [19] Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
The Preachers should teach undiluted word of God, they should save themselves and not partake in their wickedness once if they earn the wicked.
Acts 18:2-3 KJV
And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them. [3] And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
Pastors/Preachers should have the work of their own i.e they should work with their hands, this will help to meet your needs. It's misconception to say that Pastors shouldn't work.
If you don't want to burden anyone or make money out of the people of God, then you should work.
1 Corinthians 4:12 KJV
And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
Acts 20:34 KJV
Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
By working we are not doing it to serve money rather to meet your need and bring help to the brethren.
