Is there Punishment for those who misinterpret the Bible

I want to contribute on today's teaching which says those God punish those who misinterpret the Bible?
God does not punish anyone for accidentally misinterpreting the Bible.

Everyone (including me, a serious student and sometimes teacher of the Bible) misinterprets the Bible on one or more points. Further, there are a number of points that God has left open to interpretation, so there is simply no way to know the correct interpretation on those points. That’s what theologians love to debate about.

People who love Jesus and his word will not misinterpret the Bible on purpose but, as you suggested, only by accident. Others, for various reasons, misinterpret the Bible intentionally. They will face judgment for their evil, but those who love and serve Jesus will never face condemnation or punishment. That’s God’s promise. Romans 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit(KJV)
