Lesson learnt at the teaching by Bro Eli Soriano.
The essence of gathering in the house of God is to learn from God, exhort one another, observe each other and to care for one another.
We have to be concern and have sense of care for each other.
Matthew 26:41a says: Watch and pray that ye enter not into temptation.
In the course of watching out for each other, we should make sure we don't show partiality. James 2:1-3.
In the gathering of God, there should be singing of songs because song is one of the joyful activities in life. Colossians 3:16.
Also, the bible make us to understand that gathering of the disciples were done on the first day of the week. Nothing is wrong by gathering on Sunday like other people believe. Acts 20:7.
When we gather to call the name of the Lord with humility God is ready to forgive and heal our land.
