Prayer Meeting 11th May,2021

What I Learnt from yesterday's Zoom Prayer Meeting.
Yesterday's discussion was centred around the law of moses and The law of Christ. And was been explained to help us know the one we ought to follow diligently in this dispensation.

From the scripture below
Acts 13:39: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

I understood that as christian we can't be justified by the law of moses but through our the law of Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 6:2: Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ

It is the law of Christ that we ought to follow as not the law of the old, which is the law of moses.

The Ten commandment is for the Israelites, so we as christian we are not tied to the law of moses but of Jesus Christ.
Mal 4:4: Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Difference Between The Commandment and The Law of Christ:
Acts 2:37-40: Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

During the law of moses, they was no baptism, so therefore the people can not be filled with the Holy Spirit, the prophets then where the only mediator between them and God. But after Christ came and died, He encouraged everyone who believes to be baptized, so as to allow the Holy Spirit to be working in us.

So during the time of the Ten commandment, the Holy Spirit was not operational in their lives aside from the prophet.
But Jesus Christ law brought about sanctification through baptism, so as to allow the Holy Spirit access us and not only the prophets anymore.

Romans 10:4: For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth

Our Lord Jesus Christ represented the end of the law, that was why he was able to fulfill everything written in it, so as to bring us to the dispensation where we no longer have to wait for our prophets anymore, but can always access God, through Him by the Holy Spirit so far as we believe in His name.

So whosoever uses the law of moses in this dispensation, will be walking into doom because Christ is the only Vine (access to God).
John 15:5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
