How To Deal With Addiction(Why Addiction part1)

Hello friends today I will be sharing my understanding to the question above.

Addiction is one of the world's rising problem. It is something that has gotten into the nooks and cranny of our societies.

we all can concur to the fact that everyday we hear or see people who feel they can not live if they don't do some certain things or take some certain things.

The sad part of it is that it is a rising phenomena in the youth's like me and you, and we really need to be on the watch so that it will not eat up our society.

What is Addiction?
Addiction is a compulsive psychological need for and use of a habit-forming substance characterized by tolerance and well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal.

The word "habit-forming" simply means it has a beginning.
Also the statement "physiological symptoms upon withdrawal" means it becomes difficult to stop.

So you can see that it is easy to start but difficult to stop. And that is the reason it is called Addiction.

Why Addiction ?
Many people takes smoking or different habits as an excuse for pleasure, relaxation and other stuffs.
Most times we feel these substances helps of

  • Derive pleasure
  • Get relaxed
  • Run away from the pressure of life(its just for a moment)
  • sleep
    And many others. But the truth is our subconscious have become very used to eat that it is difficult for it(subconscious) to stay without it. That is why we find ourselves going back to eat uncontrollably.
