Today I will be saying how to deal with addiction based on my understanding from Brother Eli's teachings.
We deal with addiction with our faith in God.
Faith is God is the cure for addiction.
But remember faith without work is dead. So we definitely have to put in work.
What is that work ?
First you must find another thing doing that will give you that same pleasure, if not more, that you derived from the addiction.
After that you need to constantly indulge in it daily, it might be singing, playing game etc, anything that replaces the time spent on that addiction.
As you practice it regularly, it gradually replaces the space occupied by that formal habit in your subconscious mind.
Remember it is not an instant thing, it is gradual, at that point God steps in because you have put your faith to work.
He then will hasten the perfection process and at the end you will return all glory to Him.
