This is the second question I answer on Quora. I found it interesting to respond to because it's quite funny to think the devil (and God) does not exist at all. Oh well, that's what makes us humans, our differences.

_{Disclaimer: I am not an expert in Catholicism but I was born, raised and live as a Catholic. Also, I went to a Catholic school for 4 yrs. My answer/s is/are based on a combination of my opinion, what I've been taught, learned and/or experienced.}

Let me share with you what I think about this topic.

Quora Asks: If Satan was real, and walking down the street, would he be arrested on the spot?

My Answer:

This being is real, as real as God is. If you are not aware about exorcism yet then perhaps that’s why you say Satan is not real. There are even satanists and cults worshipping it, and even a conference in Boston held last month! Imagine how far humanity has fallen. Tsktsk.

Do you think he/she/it will be arrested in this day and age? 😆 At the rate we’re going more people are actually worshipping such an evil being, some even without realizing it.

Why would the fallen angel be arrested when he/she/it can just fool you into thinking they do not exist at all? It can even appear to you as the most beautiful woman or handsomest man, how then can the devil be put in jail on Earth? 😂 And it can also make you angry at God and turn you into an atheist without you even realizing it (unless you know yourself well enough).

Lastly, an "arrest" would be impossible unless the one doing it is an exorcist. But even so, exorcists can only exorcise with God and Mother Mary’s help. It is only through the power of Jesus/God that man can banish them from this world.

I suggest you read more and watch videos about exorcism from interviews of exorcist priests. Even non-Catholics are being exorcised despite a difference in belief/religion! It would be best to learn more about this topic so you (and other people) will understand things clearly.

But do not fret, for it is already written that the devil and it's followers will be forever suffering in Hell. He/she/it has already been defeated. As of now, we can be sure that very soon they will be thrown in eternal jail, which is what Hell is.
