I have a small garden not far from where I live and this afternoon I came out of the house to go clean up some grass in the small garden at the back of the house, the garden had been neglected for several months.
At 04.30 in the afternoon I had the opportunity to clean the garden which was starting to be filled with shrubs at the gate of the garden gate.I planted some flowers, I saw a small insect that was unique and seemed to be peeking at my movements ..
This small insect has a green color like grass, the shape of its eyeballs looks like the eyes of a dragonfly. This little insect has a pair of front legs that are shorter than the hind legs.
When I approached him he turned around, this little insect looks very unique. I did a search and I came across this kind of tiny insect in scientific language called Orthodera novaezealandiae, known as New Zealand mantis or New Zealand praying mantis and you can see all the pictures shot here ..
After I noticed and saw the uniqueness and beauty of that little insect, I continued to clean up some of the weeds that grew in the plantation and soon it rained very heavily and I took shelter under the tent where I used to sow the chilli seeds.
The raindrops were pouring down and the weeds looked very cheerful because it had not been raining for a long time and you can see some of the raindrops soaking the grass leaves you can see in a few shots of my smartphone camera this afternoon.
This afternoon I did not finish cleaning the garden because it was raining very heavily until the afternoon and I will return to clean the garden another day.
