It is that time of the year

Looks like i am using my Helios 44 once a year. Spring comes, flowers are all around = let's take out this weird lens for a spin.

Helios 44

is an old Soviet lens made as a copy of Carl Zeiss Biotar 58mm f/2. It was one of the most produced lenses so you can find it really cheap. It is also popular because it is easy to modify. Even when not modified it is famous because of it's interesting bokeh. But when modified you get this:

It is specific lens because you need to photograph in specific condition and it gives best results at specific distance. So it is not really for every day use.

I was a bit early this year so no that much interesting flowers, hence a glowing selfie.
