The Addo Elephant National Park

The Addo Elephant National Park is located near Port Elizabeth in South Africa offers the opportunity to make a safari and observe big wild. The park is now the third largest in South Africa and in addition to the large land animals you can also observe whales and the great white shark. It is the only Park in the world with the Big Seven. What does big seven actually mean you can see lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo and also two other fascinating creatures namely whales and great white sharks.

Did you know that Armstrong was the 2nd game warden here in the Park and right after he was engaged he started to develop an elephant proof fence.
The park was established in 1931 and currently provides a safe living place for more than 600 elephants, buffalo, various antelope species and other animals.
