What Does FREEDOM, Feel Like To Me?

Like love and hate, freedom is a very relative concept that each of us interprets differently. I like the theme of this challenge from the Abundance Tribe Community

What is freedom?

It is the ability, not the right of each of us to do, say or act in a way approved by ourselves without being influenced by other people or situations.

Is there anyone on this earth who can not be called free?

Freedom is given to us by the heavens, we are the ones who put ourselves in different chains to achieve or understand something.

Each one of us is a hostage.

You may not realize it, but it is so. Want to buy a new phone or other gadgets? You become a "slave" just to buy that product. You work harder or deprive yourself or everyone in the family to purchase the given thing. Yes it's probably very necessary, but in reality, you get stuck in a vicious cycle where you get up in the morning, have breakfast, get ready for work, go to work, and work X number of hours sometimes more than 12 to be able to provide for yourself, and if you have a family and kids the picture gets even more colorful. You come home from work, barely walking and almost asleep from tiredness, and by the time you get to bed you feel like you've been lying down and asleep in front of the TV in the kitchen for an hour and a half after you've eaten. You shake yourself awake, get up move to your bed and by the time you've blinked 5 times, it's time to get up for work again and repeat everything described just above.

Do you have time to live?

Don't we shackle ourselves to our ideals in order to have more?

It's not about more than others, it's just about satisfying our egos, making ourselves feel "special" because we bought the super trendy and amazing flying TV or the fast super expensive car everyone is talking about.

Don't we bury ourselves in different situations by limiting ourselves?

I am not a proponent of spending money indiscriminately, I rarely buy things that are not useful to me or my family. I choose carefully and discuss with myself whether this thing makes sense to buy or will be another thing collecting dust in someone's cupboard.

Freedom of Speech?

Who is restricting us and why? Why are so many countries banning speech or mention of certain topics? Why is it that everywhere on the various news broadcasts they talk about freedom of speech and they are actually restricting people from the whole picture? They present things the way they please in order to "direct" the attention of the common man like you and me to think, feel or do whatever they want. To cloud his view of the rest of the world or to make him follow something like a sleepy sheep walking in a flock of other such sheep.

I'm sad to admit it, but there are no free people even if slavery no longer exists...

Man as an individual from many years back has been trained to live in groups, tribes, nations, and to be a part of such has always had rules imposed upon it. These rules more or less limit his freedom.
