Living in a new country is both an advantage and a constant competition. It hardens. This gives you the opportunity to know yourself better. It forces you to set goals and achieve them.
Again, prehistory. I live in Slovakia. I was born in Ukraine. We have the documents of Slovakia. But take the dokuments was not easy. Although, looking back, I can't say that's so difficult.
Since we are foreigners here, we have to deal with the police for foreigners from time to time. This is a very specific place.
I will tell in order.
When we came to live and work in Slovakia, we already had a contract with the employer. Therefore, our documents were handled by special agents. All the papers were prepared for us. This is good because at that time we did not speak Slovak language.
We came to the police office. We were introduced as animals. And everything was arranged in a few hours. A few weeks later we received special plastic cards. Everything was easy here. 90% for us was done by the employer. The employer also paid for these documents. That's about € 150.
But then we moved to a new home. And then the horror began. The change of address must also be reported to the police. But there was already a queue of living people. Here we no longer had help from our agents. This queue begins 24 hours before the opening of the police. That is, you must come 24 hours before the opening. Write it down on paper and wait for it to open.
At 7-30 the police open. At 6--00 you should already be under the police and DEFEND your place. There are scandals and fights here.
And before that. We didn't have a car at that time. And we had to wait on the street. Sleep on the street.
The second such experience was. Later. But we slept in the car. We paid € 20 to our friend to borrow a car from him.
A week ago we were again in the police for foreigners. We submitted documents to extend the cards and change the address. This time everything was fine. We went with our agents. So everything was finished in 2 hours. They paid 90 € for us.
And now we need to apply for a change of address of the child. Here I will tell the good news. The electronic queue is already working. You can apply on the site. And have free space for one week. Try it.
Maybe I'll stop being afraid of the police.
Two years passed quickly. Lots of events. Concentrated life.
Жити у новій країні це і перевага і постійне змагання. Це загартовує. Це дае можливість пізнати себе краще. Це примушує ставити цілі та із досягати.
Знову ж таки передісторія. Я живу у Словакії. Народився я в Україні. Ми маємо документи Словакії. Але дістати із було не просто. Хоча, обертаючись назад, я не можу сказати що так вже складно.
Так як ми тут іноземці то мусимо періодично мати справу з поліцією для іноземців. Це дуже специфічне місце.
Розповім по порядку.
Коли ми приїхали жити і працювати у Словакію то ми мали вже контракт з роботодавцем. Тому нашими документами займалися спеціальні агенти. Усі папери підготували за нас. Це добре тому що на той час ми не розмовляли по словацьки.
Ми прийшли під офіс поліцїї. Нас як тварин завели. І все оформили за декілька годин. Через декілька тижнів ми отримали спеціальні пластикові карточки. Тут було все легко. 90% за нас зробив роботодавець. Також роботодавець сплатив за ці документи. Це приблизно 150€.
Але потім ми переїхали на нове житло. І тут почався жах. Зміну адресу необхідно також подати до поліцїї. Але тут вже була черга з живих людей. Тут вже ми не мали допомоги від наших агентів Ця черга починається за 24 години до відкриття поліцїї. Тобто необхідно прийти за 24 години до відкриття. Записатися на папері і чекати відкриття.
О 7-30 відкривається поліція. О 6--00 ти вже повинее бути під поліцію та ЗАХИЩАТИ свое місце. Бувають тут і скандали і бійки.
А ще до того. На той час ми не мали автомобіля. І чекати довелося на вулиці. Спати на вулиці.
Другий такий досвід був. Пізніше. Але ми спали в машині. Ми сплатили 20€ нашому другу щоб позичити у нього машину.
Тиждень тому ми знову були у поліцїї для іноземців. Ми подали документи на продовження карток та на зміну адреси. Цей раз все було добре. Ми ходили з нашими агентами. Тому все закінчили за 2 години. За нас сплатили 90€.
А тепер нам треба подати на зміну адреси дитини. Тут скажу хорошу новину. Вже працює електронна черга. Можете подати заявку на сайті. І мати вільні місце протягом одного тижня. Пробуйте.
