The Creative Spirit Within: Episode 214

image.png

@churdtzu

There are certain forces in this world that would love to have you be stagnant... To stay the same, to not grow, to live out your life predictably so they can predictably get money from you
You are so much more than the expectations of you, of whatever person or whatever system. You're not a cog in a machine... You are an organic form constantly changing, undefined and perhaps indefinable.
How many times has it happened... You thought for sure you would never be able to learn a skill, you put limits on yourself. A few years later, you find yourself doing that very thing you believed you never could
When will you put it together? There are no limits for you.

Peer-Reviewed Journals Are Just Trusted Third Parties - The Religion of Scientistism & The Push For Anti-Science

image.png

@kennyskitchen

If there's one thing that has been made abundantly clear over the last 13 months, it is the fact that the masses have by & large all converted to the religion of scientistism, where they worship at the altar of white-coated "professionals," and blindly trust everything that those people tell them (even knowing that they are directly funded & controlled by corporations and government.)
It has become "normal," and promoted by the media that people literally shouldn't research for themselves.

Looking At Birth Trauma And The Way In Which We Birth Our Young!

image.png

@trucklife-family

I became passionate about birth rights, after the birth of my first child. I had wanted a home birth, but in the end my Midwife took me into hospital and my daughter was born by Suction, after they had preformed an Episiotomy on me.
For those who don't know, an Episiotomy is an incision that is made in the perineum and the vaginal wall, with the intention of helping the baby to be born. I found both of these procedures very traumatic and very painful.

Financial Freedom Will Be In Everyone's Grasp

image.png

@taskmaster4450

We are entering a completely new era in humanity. Things that were constant in our daily lives are changing. It is a process that operated on the time frame of decades, yet could be consolidated to years.
For example, 30 years ago, the Internet was not part of our daily lives. Today, however, for more than 5 billion people, it is a part of our experience just like electricity is.
Advancements like this are opening up many new opportunities to people.

A reflection on weakness, strength and balance

image.png

@vieira

A question: Which is better, to be very good at one thing and lousy at all the others, or to be neither good nor lousy at any of them?
I was thinking about this and what the answer to that question says about the way we relate to ourselves. Some people would say that they would rather be very good at one thing, and bad at everything else, because that way they would excel at something, than just be someone who is in the middle. Nobody wants to be in the middle, we have a negative view of what it means to be in the middle.

Sometimes We Just Have to Practice

image.png

@riverflows

It's said that you can learnt anything, should you practice it enough. I do have a tendency to moan that I can't juggle, but it's only because I haven't practiced juggling. I'm awful at ball sports, but it's only because I refuse to play ball sports because - well, boring. But I know full well that if I trained my brain and body to throw spinning chainsaws through the air, I'd be just super at it, if missing a few fingers. I'm good at stand up paddle boarding and yoga, but it's because I've devoted a lot of time and energy to it.

2021 Mt. Tabor 420 Celebration in Portland, Oregon - BEST YEAR EVER!! - Location of the Next Hive Canna-Fest!

image.png

@elamental

2021's Mt. Tabor 420 Celebration was the absolute best and most unique installment of this completely open and free community driven event I have ever experienced. I participated in this event every year since I have lived in Oregon (8 years running), and there were certainly some really epic year's atop this smoky summit with my Portland fam. There were multiple years when DJ's brought up their whole setup, scratching vinyl with old school hip hop and turning the whole mountaintop into a literal cloud of smoke - so much so that you couldn't even see a foot in front of you. There was even a wedding a few years back.

Self-Organization as Driving Force for Social Structures | Courage and Initiative - Festival Lessons on Human Behavior - Part 2

image.png

@paradigmprospect

If we put trust in people's ability to organize themselves one might ask: How then does anything ever get done reliably? It gets done because people who are around and resonate see that it needs to be done. All it requires is a certain level of awareness and willingness to do one's part when life calls for it. Immediacy.
I remember two glaring examples of this from my festival days:
Once at Ozora there was a major storm brewing and it started pouring like crazy.

Daily Runes - Guilt and Shame // Runas Diarias - Culpa y Vergüenza

image.png

@drrune

Being at ease with ourselves isn't easy
Surely all readers have felt it... that oppressive pause before saying something uncomfortable, before getting naked before someone or showing your work. You've all doubtlessly also experienced the regret of not having done something you wanted, for not having helped that person when you could, for those words you didn't say. Without exception, we all know what Shame and Guilt are.

Moderna rats lost pregnancies at double rate of placebo

@perceive

If you've been paying attention to the increase in the experimental vaccination programs pushed forth by governments, you'll notice that there recommending pregnant women receive the shot now. Many women think they're actually protecting their child by getting this experimental injection. But is that really the case?

@justinparke

Greetings Hivers, our household Cincinnati Chili recipe is always evolving and changing, and it's been nearly a year since I last posted the current state of this recipe in our household.
Beans and tomatoes were two of the ingredients I selected for the @LotusShares Plant Power Cooking Challenge | Week #5, so when I found myself preparing this dish for the family, what is usually a weekly occurrence, I decided I would share with you this slightly updated recipe, one that Monkey-B loves most of all.

The Train Journey ; Open Thoughts On The Changes Needed to Mental Health Services

image.png

@holisticmom

Mental health services are strained in the UK at the best of times and following the lockdowns, there has certainly been an increase in the number of people feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by the imposed restrictions.
Job losses are at an all-time high, people are losing their homes and lack of human communication is even taking its toll on the mentally strong.

Human Nature is what it is

image.png

@minismallholding

A few days ago I was reading @riverflows’ thoughts on Earth Day. She touched on quite a few contradictions we end up living in as we try to reconcile helping the Earth with the destructiveness of living our daily lives. This conundrum and the words “Because if you act out of love, that could save the earth...” got me thinking. I was about to comment when I realised that it was going to get a bit long and decided instead to make it a post.

Massive Anti COVID Policy March in London. Gov Instigates Violence for Propaganda Purposes?

image.png

@ura-soul

Estimated crowds of between 150,000 and 400,000 people surged into London yesterday to protest the government's 'health mandates' and lockdowns in response to COVID19. Mass media was awash with images of police with minor injuries, spinning the situation as a meeting of 'a few thousand' people who turned violent.. Let's look closer.

The @Abundance.Tribe Bi-Weekly Question

Focalized by @Trucklife-Family

The aim of the biweekly question is to help promote self awareness, so that we can begin to go back to a point in our lives, where we are connecting more with our intuitive self. By asking these questions, we are getting one another to dig deep and to reflect on our lives. To focus on what we really want in life and on how we are going to achieve it.
