Even though I have been living in Buenos Aires for more than 2 years now, I still marvel at being able to walk around and spend some time in parks and squares.
A really relaxed atmosphere can be felt in the open spaces.
And a very nice place to spend a nice afternoon is in the Recoleta area.
With its museums, cultural centers, squares, parks, fairs and tourist attractions Recoleta is an area that you have to visit several times to get to know well.
In this opportunity I am going to show you the area towards Figueroa Alcorta Avenue, where the United Nations Park is located.
It is a very large and sunny green area, ideal for resting.
In this park is located an imposing sculpture called "Floralis Genérica" and that impresses not only by its dimensions, but by the technology that houses, as it is able to open and close programmed with sunlight.
When you are there, it is almost obligatory to take a picture just as you would do in the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
On one side of the park is the headquarters of the law school of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).
A huge building that corresponds to the monumentalist architectural period and is inspired by Roman architecture, as it includes busts, murals and statues.
And to finish this tour, I toured the Recoleta Cemetery.
Created in the twenties of the twentieth century and with a neoclassical facade, in which I could not resist the temptation to take a picture.
There you can find mausoleums of outstanding people of the Argentine history and one of the most visited is the mausoleum of Eva Perón.
Still recoleta has many more beautiful things to offer.

Aunque ya tengo más de 2 años viviendo en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, todavía me maravilla poder pasear y pasar un rato en parques y plazas.
Un ambiente realmente relajado se siente en los espacios abiertos.
Y un lugar muy bonito para pasar una buena tarde está en la zona de recoleta.
Con sus museos, centros culturales, plazas, parques, ferias y lugares de atractivo turístico Recoleta es una zona que hay que visitar varias veces para poder conocer bien.
En esta oportunidad les voy a mostrar el sector que está hacia la avenida Figueroa Alcorta, dónde se encuentra el parque Naciones Unidas.
Área verde muy amplia y muy soleada, ideal para descansar.
En este parque se encuentra ubicada una imponente escultura llamada "Floralis Genérica" y que impresiona no sólo por sus dimensiones, sino por la tecnología que alberga, ya que es capaz de abrirse y cerrarse de forma programada con la luz del sol.
Al estar allí, es casi obligatorio tomarse una fotografía tal como lo harías en la torre inclinada de Pisa.
A un costado del parque se encuentra la sede de la facultad de derecho de la universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA)
Edificio inmenso que corresponde al período arquitectónico monumentalista y que está inspirado en la arquitectura romana, ya que incluye bustos, murales y estatuas.
Y para terminar este paseo, hice un recorrido por el cementerio de Recoleta.
Creado en la década de los veinte del siglo IXX y con una fachada de estilo neoclásico, en la que no pude resistir la tentación de tomarme una fotografía.
Allí se encuentra mausoleo de personas destacadas de la historia Argentina y uno de los más visitados, es el mausoleo de Eva Perón.
Todavía recoleta tiene muchas más cosas hermosas que ofrecer.
