🌎🌎🌎 Cross Culture Question: What kind of stereotypes do people have about your country? Do you think they are true or not?🌎🌎🌎. (ccq)

A stereotype is a prefigured image or a synonyry with prejudice because the stereotype is given with partial opinions or events and events that happen and that we can attribute to a generality that does not have continuous frequency of which it is not, a stereotype can be by example; In the case of Venezuelans who are very happy in this case we can see what a stereotype is that is close to what Venezuelans really are, but there are other stereotypes that are exaggerated if not false, certainly in Venezuela the situation Economic is difficult but to say that Venezuelans are dying of hunger is exaggerated and ends up being a lie, although we cannot deny in advance that in many households food intake has been decreased as a result of the crisis and has been increased with the covid-19 then the stereotype which is an image elaborated in advance of a methodical or scientific evaluation of reality is forming an image forged by impressions or by communications.

Social networks are the masters of stereotypes today because they create figurations of people, communities and countries that do not always correspond to reality, although as the saying goes; when the river sounds it is because it brings stones.

Another point is freedom of expression, here you can say what you want and nobody says anything about it, that in another country can even cost you your life, depending on what is said.

Disorder is the result of our way of being, so with all the above mentioned, a very great debauchery is what there is in my country, and an abuse of the use of power.

Another stereotype that is heard very often is that the Venezuelan is lazy, I think that is not a wrong stereotype, maybe if we can confront that we are undisciplined but lazy, we can appreciate that from 4:00 in the morning the number of people that it is being mobilized everywhere and all kinds of activity, both formal and that carried out by the informal economy.

The economic crisis has accentuated many problems, the rise in prices of products, everything is very expensive with a dollarized economy and products are more expensive in the city than on the border. That is our reality, great speculation that leads to great inflation.

I imagine that this is a phenomenon that is not so easy to solve but I think that what we live has a lot of personal attitudes, it is not something that we are only going to resort to an external factor which corresponds to our bad habits, the way we behave or conduct ourselves socially.

Another stereotype is that Venezuela is a country of beautiful women. I believe that in all countries there are beautiful women, this is a stereotype that has been oversized.

The fact that we have abundant natural resources does not imply that they are transformed into wealth per se, they are potentially wealth for the country but it needs to be exploited and properly invested to generate other industries other income, which is not the case, therefore Venezuela is a potentially rich country for its natural resources but it is a country with many shortcomings due to the attitude of its inhabitants and the inability of its ruler, many is what we could develop with discipline, commitment and entrepreneurship.

Economists talk about the causes of development and underdevelopment but as this is a personal opinion, while recognizing that there are major causes that escape the good will of each one of us.
