Topography of Nepal.

Nepal is in the lap of the Himalayas with boundless diversity in topography, culture, and people. The country is well known for mountaineering and trek expedition. However, Nepal's topographical differences provide a limitless life-experience on travel. The topographical regions are divided into three regions i.e Himalayan, hilly, and plains. The height ranges from an altitude of 60m above sea level to 8848 m, being Mt. Everest the highest peak in the world.

The Himalayan region consists of high Himalayas, and this has shaped the lifestyle and culture of the country. Mt. Everest and the other six highest peaks of the world lie in this region. The base areas of these peaks are inhabited by Sherpas. This region ranges from 3000m to 8848m. Here, people depend upon tourism and the trade of herbal plants for their livelihood. The region is not accessible with modern transportation but airway is the major sophisticated means of transportation.

The Hilly region is a mountainous region and covers an area of 1000m to 2700m-3000m. Rice, Potato, Wheat are the main food here in this region. Nepal's capital Kathmandu is located in this region and the region also known for its famous exotic destination Pokhara. Tourism and Trade are the major economic activities of this region. The valleys like Pokhara and Kathmandu are the ultimate destination.

Similarly, the plains range from 60m to 1000m. So this region is the land of crops and covers the major cities of Nepal. Trade is the major economic activity. It has the hot climatic condition. The place has exotic rivers, lakes, and biodiversity.
NEPAL is a home for diversity, within a small boundary. The three different topographies and within the topographies diversity in biodiversity and culture makes Nepal a wholesome travel destination.
