Education and Love

Mr. Temple Gimbe an indigene of Lewe in Gokana local government area of Rivers State, Nigeria traveled to Indonesia to study, in the process met one Miss. Christine who was also a student. Love they said is a beautiful thing and also blind. Although not all love is blind. They became so madly in love. There's a Nigerian adage that says 'as you go to the University learn everything' this include love. This Ogoni (Ogoni is an ethnic group in Nigeria) man asked her hand in marriage and she accepted.

Marriage Proper
This was not the normal Nigerian marriage that involves payment of bride price and settling of family/compound list. A true marriage entails serious occasion and heavy entertainment. Be that as it may, there is a consummation of the marriage.

Trans-Cultural Diffusion

The marriage has brought forth a baby girl. The baby has dual citizenship. Today, Mrs Christine Gimbe can prepare both African and intercontinental dishes. Since they both live in Nigeria, she dressed like other Nigerians. She sings Nigerian indigenous songs and speaks the Ogoni language. Although from different cultures, but they are happily married. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Temple Gimbe.
