People connect with each other and life becomes easier, but on the other hand, globalization also had a negative effect which is what I will focus on in my writing, you see in the past, people would dwell on what they see with their eyes inside them, they were more realistic, but I don't think it is still the habit in today's world, because most people compete and want to be like others, they admired other people's life and want to copy from them, while it wasn't like that before, someone who stays abroad don't connect so easily with someone in the home country.
Technology is helping and also being a nuisance, since the introduction of these technology devices such as phone and laptops, the results of breaking up in a relationship that should have been healthy are so rampant, this is so because, not everyone can control themselves to the things they want and even if someone is able to control themselves, there is a limit to the way they can do it, seeing so many flashy things on the internet is a reason why many people want to do more than themselves and in order words, they motivate others to keep working hard.
I have a girlfriend, we are not intimate but she is my friend, she told me a while ago, when I asked her. _Why I haven't seen her on the internet" she replied, the reason is that she doesn't want to compete with anyone. I told her, that it is not forcing her to compete, no one is forcing her to that competition of a thing, but then I realised she just wants to be herself and that is to say, in whatever she can hold, she has a limit, instead of her falling into competition she just wants to be herself and stay away.
Then it is clear to note that the whole thing is in Globalization, she has had some of her friends who are into the trendy lifestyle and it makes her uncomfortable about it, when she sees them copying the lifestyle of others, even while they are starving to do so. Globalization brought with it a lifestyle of competition that some people don't want, but due to the fact that you are out there on the internet, you find yourself struggling to join the trends.
And the worst thing about competition is that it forces you to do more than you could have done in a normal day without competing, because it brings rich and poor together. I guess this is still the problem for some people, they don't want to know who the guy on the other side is, how much he earns or where he comes from, before they try to compete with him, then because they keep wanting to be like the person, they keep seeing themselves on the inferior side and would never be happy.
I really appreciate everything that globalization has done, but what I don't like is the competitive lifestyle that has infiltrated people's lives, and I wish there was a way to eliminate that particular aspect and still enjoy the other good things it has brought to the world.
