However the Wind blows, I trust willingly
As I write this, my right arm hurts from the vaccine I received yesterday. I have no other noticeable symptoms at the moment, but then again, I'd already fallen ill with this virus at the start of this year. I'm scheduled for a second shot in October. Supposedly there's a third shot coming. I have to admit that, considering the mess in which most countries are and the considerable failings in international cooperation in the past few thousand years, distribution and administration of this vaccine has been an unprecedented demonstration of collective global efficiency.
Now, to be honest, I couldn't have cared less about this vaccine. I was neither against it nor for it, it was just another fact of this current crisis. I decided that I'd take it if it didn't represent a hurdle in my routine, which it wasn't. I'll be monitoring my body closely during this period, but I think this new entity in my structure can be used as an upgrade instead of constituting a problem. When the majority of people in the world believe a story, that story becomes really, really powerful and reshapes the way we think as a species. This pandemic has been exactly that, and I've learned to not go against the grain in such circumstances. Opinions and expectations cloud observation, resistance always causes friction. I like to live my life as noise-free as possible, so I don't argue with anyone or fight against the System. As I see it, if I keep my vibration high and continue my work of self-awareness, this vaccine can only improve me. It's the same logic that I've applied to masks, although I try to wear them as little as possible without causing strangers much angst. Thankfully, Venezuelans are rather free in that regard.
There's a scene in Matrix Reloaded where the Oracle tells Neo something fascinating: she says that the Matrix is made out of programs running all the time, and that the ones doing what they're supposed to do are invisible, but the ones who resist their purpose are all too obvious. In recent years, I've realized how profound that revelation is, because the less I judge my environment and the more committed I am to my Service, the less trouble I get, the less effort I have to make. Rather than making a ruckus as I did before, I now slide silently and invisibly, and I just adapt to every narrative I see without supporting it or condemning it. The virus, the global response, the vaccine and all the other things that are happening right now, are the story we're living in. We can either be willing participants or suffer our roles as a burden. I choose willingness.
So I took my vaccine and I'll take any others that come afterwards. I wear masks and sanitize my hands in public places like most other people and will continue to do so until I mark a sharp decline in that trend. I don't share anyone's concern about this crisis even though I've explored it in depth and have acquired information of what may come next (not pretty, sadly), concern is sufferance and I don't care to suffer. I like to live connected with Love, not Fear, so I've found ways to thank for this pandemic, climate change, tyrannies and conflicts, to see them as expressions of Wonder and Evolution. This has allowed me to expand my peace and to continue my Service smoothly.

Violence, tricks, traps, sometimes from generally trustworthy sources. Observe but do not get involved unless your integrity is in danger. The time for heroics is already passed. Preserve your calm and your aim, tend to your tools, find your edge and glimmer. Remember that there are actions that demand an immediate response. Do not tarry in making your moves, take the initiative, establish the rules of the game. Combat is dance and flow, it can be pleasurable and not a drama. Your dread of confrontation is what makes it terrible, integrate your fears and advance. Elevate yourself, sublimate your work, let your Will inspire you. Focalize your energy on the goal; recognize your strength, readjust your position and strike true.
