To start with India, one will see that all round the year there is some or the other festival that comes up and celebrations keep happening. But the most important holidays that we look forward to is Diwali. As per the Hindu calendar the Date of this festival keeps changing every year, but in general it falls either in the month of Oct or Nov. This year Diwali is on November 14th. Around this day there are many other auspicious days that are also celebrated. We do not have long holidays from work.

October Marks a remarkable day for Nigeria as a country and Igbo as a culture. 16th century ago, the European came into our land and exercise dominance and influence over the people, until 1st october did she gain her independence as a country. Ever since then, 1st october is always celebrated. The celebration is always done in the central capital at eagle square, many events are done portraying how we started and how far we have gone to celebrate the victory and the sacrifice our past heroes laid for us.

The first holidays of the year and I must emphasize that these are my favorites because I love all the celebration they carry out, the creativity that abounds and because I was born on these dates are the carnivals. Two days are always marked on the calendar but here in Venezuela they take a whole week, for this holiday I usually travel to my hometown where all week they perform troupes with very creative fantasy costumes, hold elections to choose a carnival queen, perform many caravans and the most fun dressing up and playing carnival with neighbors, friends and family, this activity is based on getting people wet and celebrating to the rhythm of the calypso and the soca.

The Carnivals of "El Callao" Bolivar State of Venezuela are one of the most deeply rooted cultural traditions of my country and with the most colorful emblematic costumes of all Venezuela, English, Antillean, American and French languages and customs are mixed that highlight the diversity of the peoples, these carnivals recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as cultural heritage. In these carnivals the dancing devils of Yare appear, representing good and evil; In addition, the mass of the madams wear bright and colorful costumes and the traditional Calypso dance in these festivals sung drum music.

In my country the popular culture has a festive calendar that allows us to remember throughout the year the richness of our cultural diversity associated with a European, Indigenous and African influence that characterizes our way of life. Personally, I know some manifestations thanks to the influence that I have received since I was a child in my school activities. I have grown with the taste for my traditions and as an adult I have made incursions into different groups with which I have acquired a pleasant learning experience in terms of dances, clothing and imagery typical of each region, which I value and try to express respectfully according to their origins.
