The Steely Striking Sisters

This piece of Ayame and Shunran fanart, which is my submission for DeviantArt's Women's History Month of 2024 is dedicated to everybody who enjoys seeing Ayame and Shunran being the gorgeous, fabulous, and fearless duo of auburn-haired Yokai martial artist sisters ever as well as all the wonderful shippers of Inuyasha x Ayame or InuAya and Hakkaku x Shunran x Ginta or HakShunGin. Sit back, relax, and revel in Ayame's and Shunran's fierce fabulousness and glorious gorgeousness as a pair of sisters ready to unleash their unparalleled combat prowess on some powerful opponents.

39-year-old Ayame and 38-year-old Shunran show no signs of stopping as a fabulous duo of sisters ready to tear the competition to shreds. Ayame's furious fists, fleet feet, and limbering limbs are wonderfully combined with Shunran's gorgeous gracefulness, galactic gutsiness, and quantum quickness when they defeat opponents much stronger, faster, and more skilled than they are. If that were not enough to marvel at their collaboration, Ayame's furious ferocity as a Nak Muay Ying Farang specializing in Kyuk Too Ki, Muay Thai, Dutch Kickboxing, Muay Lao, and Pradal Serey is an exceptional match for Shunran's tenacious tempo as a Shaolin Kung Fu fighter focusing on Baguazhang, Bajiquan, Changquan, Wing Chun, and Sanda. Their sterling collaboration comes into effect when Ayame unleashes her uppercuts, jabs, cross punches, knee strikes, elbow strikes, shin kicks, and roundhouse kicks and Shunran gives her palm strikes, knife-hand strikes, ox-jaw strikes, finger strikes, butterfly kicks, cartwheel kicks, and axe kicks a whirl. Ayame's and Shunran's unbridled fierceness as a duo remains unquestioned.

Ayame and Shunran would not have been the stunning duo of Yokai martial artist sisters without the encouragement of their parents, mentors, husbands, and progeny. The Wolf Elder provided his granddaughters with sufficient wisdom and guidance to be the best versions of themselves. Broly could not have been a prouder father to have raised his two daughters to be courageous combatants. Joe Higashi and Benimaru Nikaido from King of Fighters have polished Ayame's fists, feet, knees, elbows, and shins to perfection in Muay Thai, Dutch Kickboxing, and Kyuk Too Ki. Yun and Yang from Street Fighter have done wonders for Shunran's repertoire of punches, strikes, kicks, takedowns, and acrobatics in Shaolin Kung Fu, Wing Chun, and Sanda. Inuyasha is blessed to have Ayame as his most steadfast wife just as Hakkaku and Ginta shower Shunran with unconditional love as their dearly beloved wife. Inuyasha's and Ayame's fourteen children and Hakkaku's, Ginta's, and Shunran's fourteen children are just as happy to be raised by strong fighter mothers, and they even have children to call their own.

There are not enough words in the English language to describe how beautiful Ayame's and Shunran's sisterhood is. Overlooking the fact that Ayame can launch a formidable series of punches, kicks, elbow strikes, and knee strikes and Shunran can let loose with her palm strikes, knife-hand strikes, ox-jaw strikes, and shin kicks, they can also use their combat prowess to encourage fellow fighters to grow in courage, resourcefulness, tact, and fierceness. Ayame's formidable fist-and-footwork and Shunran's fabulous finesse can not only defeat mightier opponents but also inspire the people around them to reach greater heights. Ayame's and Shunran's respective reputations as a prizefighting knockout queen and an elegant Shaolin maven are earned because of how amazingly they trek every challenge. They would not be fabulous fighters without their grandfather's and their father's unconditional support, their mentors' consistent encouragement, their husbands' everlasting love, and their progeny's respectful admiration. Therefore, Ayame and Shunran are prizefighting queens who pave the way for glory and honor.

I hope you all enjoyed this, and I will see you in the next submission. Take care, stay safe, and remember to celebrate International Women's Month by fighting strongly like Ayame and Shunran, everybody.

Ayame and Shunran from Inuyasha belong to Rumiko Takahashi and Sunrise.
