Today's novel coronavirus (COVID-19) headlines cover a hodge-podge of topics. Scientific topics include vaccination possibilities, understanding more about the disease spreads, and the impact that the disease is having on scientific research as a whole. Societal impacts include school closings and new possibilities for remote education. Business and policy impacts include earnings impacts, more companies enacting telecommuting policies, and possible privacy problems with Iran's official coronavirus application.
Of local interest (to me), Pennsylvania now has 10 reported cases of the illness, and a number of local schools and school districts are closed after a local pediatrician was taken ill by the virus.

As mentioned in previous posts, here is a visualization tool for mapping the cases of COVID-19 occurrences. According to the site, this morning's worldwide number of reported cases was 114,62 with 64,046 recoveries, 4,029 deaths, and 755 cases in the US. Of the US cases, 10 are in Pennsylvania.
