Dear @mipiano, sometimes you have proposed monthly challenges that I can't follow, not having those items indoors. I try to focus on my personal collections.
But in your proposal for this month, I can share something, of what has been beating with us for years in our home.

I will take the photos without cleaning each object. In the same way, that you should not remove the patina, created by the oxidation that is created over the years on an old coin; I wish that in this post, you can appreciate these decorative magnets, that over so many sun turns, have caressed the doors of our refrigerators.

Many of these objects have been broken and discarded, so I show you the few survivors that accompany us.

If there is one thing that cannot be missing in a home, it is a coffee pot. This is not the typical one used in Cuba. Cubans like to feel strong coffee on their palate. Some like it with little sugar, others like it sweeter, but not made in this type of coffee pot, which is the one usually used in other countries, and which gives us a lighter aroma in its concentration; for that reason it is served in larger quantities.

My mother brought this clip years ago, on one of her trips to the United States. It came from the Publix supermarket chain, well known in that country. There she liked to clip each paper with a reminder or receipt, of some service payment, every month. Now we usually do the same.

European women express their love with actions and subtle details. It is not like the Latin woman, who externalizes in words her passion and love to her loved ones.

On one of her trips to the Florida Keys, specifically to Key West, she bought a magnet with my name in English, and another with hers. It was 20 years ago, that's why they show the deterioration and traces of time.
That makes it more special for me, and wherever she is, she will feel with this post, the love we shared, even in the silence of words.

This little flower, with its hook at the bottom, is still used to hold a dishcloth and dry the dishes once they have been washed. Although it has lost a petal, it still serves its purpose.

A Christmas representation could not be missing, and this is reflected in this bear and this pine tree, made of fabric.
In Poland it is very appreciated in families to have a small bear; an omnivorous mammal that represents tenderness, and it is very common to have it since childhood.
Mommy, until her last breath at the age of 84, always made her bed and put her little brown teddy bear between her pillows.

The pine tree as a Christmas tree, could not be missing, so here you have it too.

Flies like to lurk in a kitchen, and near them, we can always find a lizard lurking to hunt them.

For this reason, this green lizard, native of Argentina, was bought in Spain, with 4 toes on each leg, when most species are born with 5 toes.

Yes, friends, this scaly reptile with big eyes does its ecological function very well, regulating the quantity and balance of these winged insects.

Our house is surrounded by a garden. There are plants that bloom on occasion, and butterflies appear on the scene, to brighten up the environment and feed on their precious nectar.

To remember them in their moments of absence, we decided to put a representation of these flying arthropods as magnetic stickers on the doors of a refrigerator.
They are beautiful, for the variety of shapes they display, and their diapason of designs and colors tattooed organically on their wings.

I wanted to finish this post, using some artificial flowers in the foreground, to achieve in the composition of my initial photo, to give them life in my mind, as if they were flying. I did not want them to be just immobile magnets decorating a metal door, but beautiful beings that embellish with their flight, the vision of each person who appreciates the wonders of our rich biodiversity.

Hasta los imanes decorativos pueden volar

“Cuando nos abrimos a la creatividad, hasta los imanes decorativos de un refrigerador pueden volar entre las bellas flores de un jardín”.

Estimada @mipiano, a veces has propuesto retos mensuales que no puedo seguir, al no contar con esos objetos dentro de casa. Trato de centrarme en mis colecciones personales.
Pero en tu propuesta para este mes, puedo compartir algo, de lo que lleva años latiendo con nosotros en nuestro hogar.

Tomaré las fotos sin limpiar cada objeto. De la misma forma, que no se debe remover la pátina, creada por la oxidación que se crea con los años en una moneda antigua; deseo que en este post, puedan apreciar estos imanes decorativos, que a lo largo de tantos giros solares, han acariciado las puertas de nuestros refrigeradores.

Muchos de estos objetos se han roto y desechado, así que les muestro a los pocos sobrevivientes que nos acompañan.

Si algo no puede faltar en un hogar, es una cafetera. Esta no es la típica usada en Cuba. Al cubano le gusta sentir en su paladar el café fuerte. A algunos les gusta con poco azúcar, a otros más dulces, pero no hecho en este tipo de cafetera, que es la que se suele usar en otros países, y que nos regala un aroma más liviano en su concentración; por ese motivo se sirve en mayor cantidad.

Esta presilla la trajo mi madre hace años, en uno de los viajes que hizo a Estados Unidos. Proveniente de la cadena de supermercado Publix, bien conocida en ese país. Ahí le gustaba sujetar cada papelito con un recordatorio o recibo, de algún pago de servicio, cada mes. Ahora solemos hacer lo mismo.

Las europeas expresan su amor con acciones y detalles sutiles. No es como la mujer latina, que exterioriza en palabras su pasión y amor a sus seres queridos.

En uno de sus viajes a los cayos de la Florida, específicamente a Key West, compró un imán con mi nombre en inglés, y otro con el suyo. Fue hace 20 años, por eso muestran el deterioro y las huellas del tiempo.
Eso lo hace más especial para mí, y donde ella se encuentre, sentirá con este post, el amor que compartíamos, aun en el silencio de las palabras.

Esta pequeña florecita, con su gancho abajo, se sigue usando para sujetar un paño de cocina y secar los platos una vez fregados. Aunque perdió un pétalo, sigue cumpliendo su función.

No podía faltar una representación navideña, y ello se refleja con este osito y este árbol de pino, hechos de tela.
En Polonia es muy apreciado en las familias, tener un pequeño oso; mamífero omnívoro que representa la ternura, y que es muy común tenerlo desde la infancia.
Mami, hasta su último aliento con 84 años, siempre tendía su cama y ponía entre sus almohadas, su pequeño osito pardo de peluche.

El pino como árbol navideño, no podía faltar, así que aquí lo tienen también.

A las moscas les gusta merodear en una cocina, y cerca de éstas, siempre podremos encontrar algún lagarto al acecho para cazarlas.

Por ese motivo, se compró en España, esta lagartija verde, oriunda de Argentina, con 4 dedos en cada pata, cuando la generalidad de las especies nacen con 5 dedos.

Pues sí amigos, este reptil escamoso y de ojos grandes, hace muy bien su función ecológica, regulando la cantidad y el equilibrio de estos insectos alados.

Nuestra casa está rodeada por un jardín. Hay plantas que florecen en ocasiones, y las mariposas aparecen en escena, para alegrar el entorno y alimentarse de su preciado néctar.

Para recordarlas en sus momentos de ausencia, decidimos poner una representación de estos artrópodos voladores, como pegatinas imantadas en las puertas de un refrigerador.
Ellas son hermosas, por la variedad de formas que exponen, y su diapasón de diseños y colores tatuados orgánicamente en sus alas.

Quise finalizar este post, usando unas flores artificiales en primer plano, para lograr en la composición de mi foto inicial, darles vida en mi mente, como si volaran. No quise que solo fueran, imanes inmóviles decorando una puerta de metal, sino seres hermosos que embellecen con su vuelo, la visión de cada persona que sabe apreciar las maravillas de nuestra rica biodiversidad.
