Happy month of December hivers and friends of plantpowervegan family. Wishing everyone an enjoyable weekend as we usher inn the last month of this year being a month of celebration πΎππ.
Christmas π is around the corner and we are all full of anticipation and dreams of how we are going to celebrate the season treating our loved π₯° ones with some special cuisines and recipes . Its also a season that we will bring out time to share and care for those that are less privileged, especially if we think and reflect on how the journey for this year has been for all of us even our journey here in Hive.
Today I made this special recipe of Coconut Chips Mix Flavored Sponge Cake Recipe to share and celebrate π #plantpowervegan community for all the support this community has given to me, especially for my growth here in HIVE. This Coconut π₯₯ chips mix flavored Sponge Coke may not be beautiful in appearance, but for me it represents the Solidness, Standing Firm, Full of Flavors And Strong rootedness of #plantpowervegan community. This cake is full of flavors because I have used a combination of flavors to bake it , even the crispness of the coconut π₯₯ added lots of flavors to it and made it more delicious . The type of cake π° we can all enjoy through Christmas π Eve and into the morning of Christmas day before our special Christmas cuisines are set and ready to be served.
Here are the ingredients and steps for this flavor bursting coconut chips cake π°.
INGREDIENTS:
200 g of all purpose flour
1 glass of almond milk π₯
2 tablespoons of margarine
1 cup of premium sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
4 tablespoons of coconut chips π₯₯
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of strawberry extract
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
STEPS FOR PREPARATION:
Step 1.
To bake this special coconut chips mix flavored sponge cake π°, I will first add the margarine and the sugar and thoroughly mix them into fluffy moist texture.
Step 2.
Then add the almond milk into the fluffy mix and stir them properly into liquid
Step 3.
Next is to add the flour into a sieve, adding the salt, baking powder, baking soda (which are the dry ingredients ) into the flour.
Step 4.
Stirred the dry ingredients properly into the flour before sifting it into the liquid mixture to start mixing into a cake batter.
Step 5.
Here I will add all the flavors of extracts , powder and the chips that are the main base of this recipe π₯₯π΄. Stir in all evenly into the batter.
Step 6.
Once the batter consistency is ready, I will oil the foils for baking, turn in the batter into them and properly seat them.
Step 7.
I will now add and sprinkle more coconut chips on top of the batter, spreading around .
Step 8.
Next is to take the batter into the preheated oven to bake the cake for 40 - 50 minutes at 250 Celsius. And once the time elapses, I will check the cake using the toothpick method. And we can see how the cake is bursting with flavors
Step 9.
Its all baked and looking so delicious. Delightful and flavorful. I will set it aside to cool down properly for at least 20 - 30 minutes.
And its all good to be gently sliced and serve. You donβt know how delicious this cake π° taste with so much flavors from all the plants extract ingredients added to it.
