Mi prima me vino a buscar para que me apurara para atender a nuestros familiares. Mi tío le preguntó que hacía allí y la mujer, afligida, le refirió que estaban velando a su esposo. Aurelio le dio el pésame y se sintió bastante triste ya que el difunto era su amigo desde hace algún tiempo. La mujer estaba un tanto consternada debido a la actitud de mi tío. Él decidió pasar para despedirse, al estar frente a la urna, se dio cuenta que no era la persona que creía. Extrañado, volvió a ver a la mujer y se percató de la confusión, en ese momento se había quitado los lentes. Resulta que era otra persona de similares características físicas, a quién también conocía, pero no eran íntimos. Mi tía tenía los ojos cerrados, la cara y las manos rojas como un tomate, decía que le ardía todo, sin darse cuenta, había picado varios ajíes picantes y se pasó los dedos por el rostro. Eugenio actuó rápido, fue al cuarto a buscar algo y le colocó hielo para refrescarla. También hizo que metiera sus manos en agua helada. La técnica fue efectiva, a mi tía se le fue pasando el malestar y la cara se le había desinflamado. Ella pudo abrir los ojos y se quitó lo que se suponía que era un pañuelo, se dio cuenta que tenía un bóxer de su marido. Al parecer, mi tío, en la premura, no encontró más que su prenda íntima, la cual tomó de la cesta de la ropa sucia. Creo que el efecto del picante también había afectado el olfato de mi tía.
