Welcome the Rain with a plate of -Lentil fritters! ( Dal ki Pakodi)

Hello... Namaste...🙏
I hope all are good and healthy.
Nowadays somewhere its raining in India and in Some places there are extremly hot weather.
Anyways ...No worries.... Monsoon is coming soon.
Today I am going to share a recipe of Dal (lentils) fritters or Pakodi.

And for raining season these Lentil fritters are on the top of the list with hot piping cup of Tea. These fritters are vegan and very delicious.
I would recommend this type of fritters to make because it is super easy and can make when there are parties at home , and at any occasion.

So lets see how to make these yummy super delicious fritters or Pakodi at home.


INGREDIENTS
▪︎chana dal-½cup (chickpea lentil)
▪︎moth dal-½cup (matki bean or turkish gram)
▪︎green moong dal -½cup( green gram)
▪︎green chili-4
▪︎onions-½cup finely chopped
▪︎garlic-1tbspn
▪︎redchili powder-
▪︎turmeric powder-
▪︎Salt-according to the taste


For Tomato garlic chutney-


▪︎tomato-2 or 3
▪︎garlic-8 nos
▪︎redchili-4 nos
▪︎greenchili-2 nos
▪︎ redchili powder-1 tbspn
▪︎ salt- to the taste


METHOD

1.in a platter place all the lentils.

2.wash it with water properly.

3.then soak it for 3 to 4 hours.

4.after soaking for 4 hours wash it again and strain the water.

5.now cut green chilies and garlic.

6.in a mixer grinder add the lentils, greenchili, garlic pods and grind it in a paste.

7.the paste should not be too thin. So donot add more water.

8.now add finely chopped or grated onions.

9.add redchili powder, turmeric powder.

10.and add salt.

11.now mix all the ingredients properly and keepaside.

Now for Chutney-

1.on the flame roast tomatoes as shown in the pic.

2.roast it properly and peel off the skin.

3.now in a grinder add green chili, ginger and roasted tomatoes.

4.redchili whole , garlic pods

5.finally add redchili powder for the spiciness.

6.grind it and make a paste.

7.add salt and the chitney is ready.

8.Now heat oil in a Kadhai. Oil should be heat not cold. Keep the flame in low meduim flame.

9.drop small balls in the oil with the help of your finger or spoon in which you are comfortable. Drop it carefully.
You can drop 10 to 12 pakodis depending on the size of your kadhai or pan.

  1. Stir it and cook till all the pakodis are golden in color and crispy.

11.Strain it in a butter paper/tissue and place them in a plate.

Its Ready To Serve now with Tomato Garlic chutney.
