Hola a todos mis amigos de esta linda comunidad #plantpower vegan, deseo que estén bien. Me alegra mucho que comenzando este nuevo año 2024 , ya tenemos un reto: Ir a comprar Alcaparras.
Aquí @sirenahippie nos pone a ir de compra, ya extrañaba los retos , esos desafíos me gustan mucho.
Cuando vi la publicación desde bien temprano le dije a mi esposo, tenemos que ir de compra y él muy obediente solo me dijo ¿a que horas?

Casi siempre he participado en los retos y me dije: este numero 23 no va a hacer la excepción,así que nos fuimos a las 3 de la tarde,llegamos al centro, les cuento que pregunté en varias partes por las alcaparras, que en el mes de Diciembre había comprado y no había, me decían: que se lo habían llevado todo el mes pasado.
Estuvimos que caminar bastante para poder encontrar las anheladas alcaparras.
I have almost always participated in the challenges and I said to myself: this number 23 is not going to be an exception, so we left at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, we arrived at the center, I tell you that I asked in several places for the capers, which I had bought in December and there were none, they told me: they had taken everything last month.
We had to walk a long way to find the desired capers.
Llegamos a un sitio en donde vendían condimento, pregunté , al fin encontré las anheladas Alcaparras, se llama: La casa del condimento , todo lo que busca en un solo sitio.
Atienden dos señoras muy amables.
We arrived at a place where they sold condiments, I asked, finally I found the longed for Capers, it is called: La casa del condimento, everything you are looking for in one place.
Two very nice ladies attend to us.
Las Alcaparras, Son arbustos de la región mediterránea, conocidos por sus capullos comestibles, se consume encurtidas. Contienen grandes propiedades nutricionales,
bajas en grasas y calorías.
En Venezuela se consume mucho en el mes de Diciembre en la preparación de las hallacas (veganas) , en mi casa compramos siempre ,ya que le da un sabor delicioso a las comidas: salsas, ensaladas, pastas , entre otras.
Pero antes de consumirla , la dejamos 30 minutos en agua fría para quitar toda esa sal que trae, si vemos que todavía sigue salada , hacemos el mismo procedimiento , luego agregas un poquito de vinagre y listo.
Para conservar las alcaparras , la meto en un envase de vidrio , esterilizado con su tapa y dura casi un año.
Capers are shrubs from the Mediterranean region, known for their edible buds, consumed pickled. They contain great nutritional properties,
low in fat and calories.
In Venezuela it is consumed a lot in the month of December in the preparation of hallacas (vegan), in my house we always buy it, as it gives a delicious flavor to meals: sauces, salads, pastas, among others.
But before consuming it, we leave it 30 minutes in cold water to remove all the salt that comes with it, if we see that it is still salty, we do the same procedure, then add a little vinegar and that's it.
To preserve the capers, I put it in a glass container, sterilized with its lid and it lasts almost a year.
Feliz de comprar mis alcaparras, a pesar de todo rinden mucho, compré 23 bolívares, 100 gramos.

Cuando llegué a casa , las coloqué en un envase de vidrio esterilizado con su tapa, allí se conservan por mucho tiempo.
When I got home, I put them in a sterilized glass container with a lid, where they will keep for a long time.
En cada una de mis compras veganas que hago siempre me divierto, aunque tuve que pedir permiso para tomar las fotos , cuando llegué la dueña de la casa del condimento , me dijo por que las fotos, es necesario las fotos?
Luego le expliqué , se sonrió y dijo tomas las fotos que quiera. Jajajaja. Hasta un nuevo reto . Dios les bendiga.
