* Hello dear hive friends,👨🌾*
"How are you, my friend? I hope you're having a good night. It's true that as we mature day by day, we gain new experiences in life and can better understand our own needs and the needs of others. Learning and spiritual growth are important so that we can continue to improve ourselves and the world around us. Today, I'm trying my hand at making delicious Malay Pickles for the first time. This dish is perfect as a side to serve with rice. Let's take a look at how to make it."
Ingredients;
- 4 large onions
- About 4 or 5 fish chili pods
- 2 large carrots
- 2-3 green chilies sliced
- 2 or 3 garlic
- A small piece of ginger
- Tomato sauce
- 100ml of vinegar
- Abha powder 1 tbsp
- Chilli powder 2 tbsp
- Pepper powder 1 tbsp
- Dates 100g
- Salt to taste
Method...
1 step👇
First, cut the carrot, fish chili, chili pepper, green chilies ,and onion into the shapes as shown in the pictures below. Also and remove the Dates seeds. Also crush the garlic and ginger well.
2 step👇
After that, take a clay pot and put it on the stove and put 50ml of vinegar. Let it heat up for a few seconds. I used a clay pot because it is not good to put vinegar in aluminum pots.
3 step👇
Then add 100g of dates to the vinegar and mash them well while stirring them with a spoon.
4 step👇
Then add crushed garlic and ginger mixture.
5 step👇
After a few seconds, add chilli powder, pepper powder, abha powder and salt as required. Stir it well and add 50ml of vinegar again.
5 step👇
Then add chopped carrot, fish chili, green chili, and onion. Mix it well for about 2 minutes. After that turn off the flame and add tomato sauce. It can be understood from the following photos.
6 step👇
Then mix the tomato sauce on the pickle well.
