hello, food lovers, when the plant power community announced the birthday cake contest it was many ideas comes in the mind, and looking for alternatives for the vegan version of the cake tried many things, and in that one is making eggwhite.

Flax seeds egg white

1/2 cup flax seeds and 1.5 cup water

In a saucepan add 1/2 cup flax seeds and 1.5 cup water.

On the hotplate start cooking it.

Cook until it is reduced in 1 cup of mixture. take off from the heat

Cover a bowl with cheese cloth.

and strain the mixture thoroughly.

The egg-white consistency come through the cheesecloth and the sticky slimy liquid is ready to use as a replacement/substitute for real egg white.

Fill the glass jar and use it for your recipes. Stored in the fridge can remain for 1 month. without changing consistency.

The color from a table is reflected in a glass I put one seed instead, write the name on it.
easy and useful recipe/substitute for those recipes where we need to use egg-white. But use it cold for good results.
