HEALTHY, SIMPLE, AND NUTRITIOUS CABBAGE CUTLETS
Hello, Hivers and vegan lovers greetings.🙏 here is my new recipe made with three ingredients that @qurator's hive top chef contest. this time given theme is just three ingredients.
Ingredients:
250-gram cabbage
2-3 tbsp oil
1/2 cup besan/chickpea flour.
spices :
I tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tap salt
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chili powder.
Here are the exact measurements of the ingredients.
Using the peeler shred the cabbage.
Using a mortar and pestle crush the coriander and cumin seed.
Add the cabbage, salt turmeric and chili powder.
I always use my hands to make food. I mix the seasoning, and spices in the cabbage until the cabbage starts losing water.
Gradually add flour to the cabbage and mix it like a dough.
When the dough became sticky enough make lime size balls In this quantity I made 8 balls.
make the balls flat and round or oval in shape.
Heat the skillet and add 2 tbsp oil. When the oil is warm start cooking or frying the oval-shaped cutlets on medium heat. it takes very less oil.
set them in the skillet and fry from both sides.
Turning them two or three times after every 2 minutes. so they don't get burned.
when the color is changed to a golden brown they are finished.
I used some kale, tiny cherry tomatoes, onion slices,( from the garden), and lime slices just for presentation. can serve with sweet chili sauce or tomato ketchup. Enjoy.
Thank you.
