Traditional chickpea greens curry๐ŸŒฟ

Ingredients:
1 bunch chane ka sag (chickpea greens)

1/2 cup Split green gram lentils

15 garlic cloves


6 Green chilli

Oil


Salt to taste
โ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธโ˜˜๏ธ
Preparation method

Wash the chane ka sag thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or impurities. Chop them finely and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.Add minced garlic and chopped green chilies to the pan. Saute until the garlic turn golden brown.

Add the chopped chane ka sag to the pan and add salt and mix well


Now, place the split green gram lentils (chhilka moong ki dal) between the chickpea curry (chane ke sag) and simmer over low heat.

Cover the pan and let the greens and lentils cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.Once the greens and lentils are cooked and tender, remove the lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow any excess moisture to evaporate.Taste the curry and adjust the seasoning if necessary.Turn off the heat.

Now chane ke sag curry ready to eat.
serve hot with roti .This nutritious curry is perfect for a wholesome meal, especially during the winter months when chickpea greens are in season. Give it a try and enjoy the flavors of this traditional Indian dish.
