I hope you are happy and healthy. Today i will share a recipe of Split Green Gram lentils. This is a main course in Indian cuisine. It's not only nutritious but also delicious. Rinse and Soak:
๐ŸŒธStart by rinsing the chhilka moong dal under running water until the water runs clear. Then, soak the dal in water for about 30 minutes. This step helps in quickening the cooking process.

Pressure Cook:
๐ŸŒธAfter soaking, drain the water from the dal and transfer it to a pressure cooker. Add 3 cups of fresh water ,green chillies, raw mango, onion and salt.


๐ŸŒธPressure cook the dal for about 3 whistles or until it is soft and mushy.

Tempering:
๐ŸŒธIn a separate pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Then, add chopped onions and sautรฉ until they turn translucent.


Combine Dal
๐ŸŒธOnce the tempering is ready, add the cooked dal to the pan. Mix everything well and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
