Hello everyone, Plant Power Community
As a fruit lover, the most fun thing is finding interesting places to get fresh fruit. In every suburb, there must be a special place to sell fresh fruit. Like in my city, we have a special place to sell fruit in the Brastagi area. The fruits and vegetables that are sold are very fresh, sweet and come from local Brastagi farmers.

Likewise with the city of Bangkok, Thailand, I found something interesting in this city. Thailand is known as a country that produces the best fruits and vegetables. Agricultural products from this country have characteristics that are different from other countries, with very sophisticated technology, even the country of Indonesia (where I live) is very far behind in the technology of agricultural products.

One day I went to Bangkok, 7 years ago to be exact, at that time I saw that fruits in Thailand were very clean, for example at that time, I saw bananas that looked clean without black spots, I just found out in the last 2 years that it was a banana cavendish. So, for cavendish bananas, they have recently become famous in Indonesia. Indeed, I cannot compare fruit in Indonesia and Thailand, because they have different characteristics. The interesting thing is that, the taste of fruit in Thailand has a standard taste, so if you try fruit 5 years ago, it will taste the same as this year's fruit. It is very different in Indonesia, the fruit will really depend on the farmer and the land used, and minimal technology makes all tastes different.

One of the interesting things in Bangkok is that it has a very busy pratunam market in the morning. This is a very famous morning market, even the entire continent of Asia knows this place. After walking around quite a distance in pratunam market, my stomach growled with hunger, it was time for breakfast. I searched around the pratunam market, looking for halal food that I can eat. I met a street vendor, selling lots of fresh fruit and some other food.

I stopped at that place, I'm interested in buying food there. I was even more interested when I learned that the vendor was selling a variety of plant-based foods, such as mango sticky rice, sticky rice durian, some processed sticky rice, rice and plant-based foods typical of Thailand. I chose one of them, mango sticky rice.

Yes, Thailand is known for its amazing mango sticky rice, even I can't make mango sticky rice as good as the ones sold in Thailand. Even though I used the same ingredients and quality fruit, it couldn't be compared to the taste you get when you eat mango sticky rice in Bangkok, Thailand.

This plant-based street food vendor is located not far from the bridge that connects Pratunam Market with Platinum Mall, you will find it right under the Cross Bridge, around Pratunam Market. Actually there are several vendors selling at that location, but this is the busiest. Not only selling fruit and plant-based food, there are also some fresh flowers that you can buy here. Around the location, it smells very good because some of these flowers give off a fresh floral scent that can be felt, making the ambiance at that location very different.

There are several foods that are sold at relatively lower prices. For example, for 1 pack of mango sticky rice with coconut milk sauce that I bought, it's only 80 bath. With a large portion, can fill the stomach. There are also several other meals, not up to 100 bath, some are even only 40 or 50 bath. The taste is also delicious, even the mango sticky rice is very good, more than the best-selling mango sticky rice in Bangkok. I like the mango sticky rice here because it has a crunchy texture on the sticky rice, the coconut milk sauce is not so sweet and creamy, it also uses quality mangoes with a sweet and fresh taste.

Not far from that location, I also found an exciting thing, a merchant that sells juices from various kinds of fruit. This cannot be missed, that Thailand really spoils tourists with a variety of very sexy 'fruit' agricultural products. You can try various kinds of fresh and sweet tropical fruit. Not only that, there are also some processed fruit such as candied fruit. I tried to buy 1 glass of coconut in the blender with coconut water too. It's sweet, even better than anything I've tried before.

I really admire the exotic fruits in Thailand, you will find a lot of variety of plant-based street food. One that I always miss, Bangkok and the fruits they have. There is one more thing that you really have to try when you are in Bangkok, occasionally try a bottle of pomegranate which is squeezed into a delicious, sweet and fresh juice. Unfortunately I ran out of bath and didn't buy it at that time.

If you go to Bangkok, don't forget to try something like this, it will be an extraordinary experience, not only the price is cheap, but the taste we get is also very good. No need to try the expensive and famous ones, just try some local street food which are hidden gems in this district. So, want to try it? Come right away!

See you the next time hive friends!
