Hoy quiero compartir algunos hábitos de lectura, gracias a la iniciativa de la amiga @cami.rojas.
La lectura nos transporta a un mundo increíble, que se revela en cada libro, capítulo y página. Es uno de los mejores hábitos que he podido mantener por años. La lectura no sólo alimenta la mente, sino que nos permite adquirir nuevos conocimientos.
Today I want to share some reading habits, thanks to the initiative of friend @cami.rojas.
Reading transports us to an incredible world, which is revealed in every book, chapter and page. It is one of the best habits I have been able to maintain for years. Reading not only feeds the mind, but also allows us to acquire new knowledge.
Usar marca libros || Using bookmarks
Cuando leo un libro, por lo general no suelo terminarlo de inmediato, siempre trato de dejar un poco de lectura para después, por lo tanto utilizo un marca libro, para marcar la pagina que esta pendiente. Esta herramienta es muy útil ya que no nos perdemos de la página y así no doblamos o rayamos un texto, creo que muchos hacemos esto.
When I read a book, I usually don't finish it right away, I always try to leave a little bit of reading for later, so I use a bookmark, to mark the page that is pending. This tool is very useful because we don't miss the page and so we don't fold or scratch it, I think many of us do this.
Un lugar cómodo || A comfortable place
Leer me relaja, por lo tanto tengo que estar en confort, me gusta empezar una lectura en modo silencio, para así concentrarme y disfrutar de mi lectura. Suelo leer en mi habitación, o en mi hamaca cerca del jardín las cuales son lugares tranquilos y silenciosos.
Reading relaxes me, therefore I have to be in comfort, I like to start reading in silent mode, so I can concentrate and enjoy my reading. I usually read in my room, or in my hammock near the garden which are calm and quiet places.
Leer en las mañanas || Reading in the morning
Acostumbro, leer durante la mañana después que desayuno, ya que siento descansada y me mente esta a millón, puedo captar rápidamente todo además la luz del día es primordial a la hora de una lectura. No puedo leer en la noche porque me da mucho sueño y no disfruto mucho de ella ya que el cansancio me vence.
I usually read in the morning after breakfast, because I feel rested and my mind is at its best, I can quickly grasp everything and daylight is essential when reading. I can't read at night because it makes me too sleepy and I don't enjoy it much because I am too tired.
Tomar notas || Taking Notes
Tomar notas cuando leo es mi costumbre, suelo leer palabras o frases que me gustan mucho y para mantenerlas en mi vocabulario en mi vida cotidiana y discutirlas con amigos las anoto en mi cuaderno. Aquellas informaciones que me gustan, las mantengo en mi agenda. Algunas personas rayan algún texto con marcadores fluorescente, a mi me gusta conservar y cuidar un libro.
Taking notes when I read is my habit, I usually read words or phrases that I like a lot and to keep them in my vocabulary in daily life and discuss them with friends so I write down in my notebook those information that I like, some people scratch some text with fluorescent markers, I repeat I like to keep and take care of a book.
Utilizar diccionarios || Use dictionaries
A la hora de leer es importante utilizar un diccionario, a menudo encontramos palabras desconocidas que entorpecen nuestra comprensión, además esto enriquecerá nuestro vocabulario y entenderemos mejor la lectura y nos dará mas conocimiento. Esta herramienta es producto de tu interacción con el texto en el que debes tener en cuenta tus conocimientos sobre el tema que estás leyendo, así como también tus capacidades de razonamiento.
When reading it is important to use a dictionary, we often find unknown words that hinder our understanding, also this will enrich our vocabulary and better understand the reading and give us more knowledge. This tool is a product of your interaction with the text in which you must take into account your knowledge about the subject you are reading, as well as your reasoning skills.
Me encantan las iniciativas, ya que son una manera muy divertida de que nos conozcamos un poquito mas. En mi vida, me he encontrado con varias historias en cada página de un libro, y cada una me enseñó una lección especial.
