¿Quién es Gibran Jalil Gibran?
Él, un importante poeta del Líbano.
Nace el 06 de enero de 1883 Bsharred, Líbano. Muere el 10 de abril de 1931.
El tema central de este pequeño y gran libro con su título El Jardín del Profeta, por medio de sus poemas en prosa, describe la relación entre el hombre y la naturaleza, esa relación que cada tema en sus títulos *EL tiempo*, *La Soledad*, *Dios*, *Las Distancias*; manifiesta en forma de preguntas, cuentos, relatos donde interviene la naturaleza y esa profundidad de pensamientos que el Ser humano expresa por medio de el don de la Palabra.
Esa expresión de pensamientos que el hombre siempre manifiesta buscando respuestas acerca de cada situación que vive y como las enfrenta. Esa profundidad interna que aún el hombre no ha descubierto por el ruido de su mundo externo.

The central theme of this small and great book with its title The Prophet's Garden, through its prose poems, describes the relationship between man and nature, that relationship that each theme in its titles *Time*, *Loneliness*, *God*, *Distances*; manifests in the form of questions, stories, tales where nature intervenes and that depth of thoughts that the human Being expresses through the gift of the Word.
That expression of thoughts that man always expresses looking for answers about every situation he lives and how he faces them. That inner depth that man has not yet discovered because of the noise of his external world.

***And call no one foolish or ignorant, for in truth we are neither wise nor ignorant. We are green leaves on the tree of Life, and Life itself is beyond our ignorance. ***
