This author is characterized by writing works of suspense, mystery, enigma; it could be called for the most sensitive terror; I can also determine that when he tells his stories, he uses children as protagonists, at least the ones I have read so far; three works, and they go in the same order, the first one I read is El Stigma and I thought they were my ideas that had a mysterious line; because I am characterized by choosing more romantic stories; However, in my eagerness to define the true line of written expression of the author in question, I dared to read In the previous Saul that dealt with artificial intelligence but in an almost chilling way; and now this one that I present to you Son of Mind; Now, there is a constant and that is that all these works revolve around the human brain, in addition to other characteristics that are not very pleasant for me, curses. Some may wonder, why do I read it? Well, because I like to read everything and once I start a book I don't like to leave it halfway because it is likely that my first impression is not what unfolds next; only this author is not recommended for nervous or sensitive readers.
This work takes place in two stages, because it begins with a tragic event that occurred at the end of the 19th century in a town very close to San Francisco, California where a squad of US cavalry assassinated a family descended from Mexican landowners. Before she expired, Doña María gave a terrible cry of revenge that pierced the tranquility of the night, saying that she promised never to leave those lands that were hers and that Alejandro, her son would take care of taking revenge; It is thus that from that moment, in some secret and dark places of those lands, evil lives and the enemy lurks, generally conspiring, corrupting, always waiting for Alexander to arrive, there but there was never peace.
Hola, bendecido viernes para todos los Hivers amigos que al igual que yo son amantes de la lectura y cuentan con el apoyo de esta maravillosa comunidad Hive Book Club, en cada oportunidad deseo compartirles mi opinión personal y lo que significa para mi la lectura de cada uno de las obras que tengo el placer de degustar, hoy les traigo en un resumen mi impresión del libro Hijo de la Mente obra escrita por la pluma de John Saul publicada en el 1994; consta de 365 páginas, donde se desarrolla un tema de Misterio y suspenso
Este autor se caracteriza por escribir obras de suspenso, misterio, enigma; podría denominarse para los mas sensibles terror; además puedo determinar que éste al contar sus historias utiliza como protagonistas a niños, al menos en las que hasta ahora he leído; tres obras, y van en el mismo orden, el primero que leí es El Estigma y creí que eran ideas mías que llevaba una línea misteriosa; porque me caracterizo por elegir historias mas románticas; sin embargo en mi afán por definir la verdadera línea de expresión escrita del autor en mención, me atreví a leer En el anterior Saul que trataba sobre inteligencia artificial pero de una manera casi escalofriante; y ahora este que les presento Hijo de la Mente; ahora bien, existe una constante y es que todas estas obras giran alrededor del cerebro humano, además de otra características no muy agradable para mí, las maldiciones. Algunos se preguntaran, ¿por qué lo leo? Pues, porque me gusta leer de todo y una vez que comienzo un libro no me gusta dejarlo a medias porque es probable que mi primera impresión, no sea lo que se desarrolla a continuación; sólo que este autor no es recomendado para los lectores nerviosos o sensibles.
Esta obra se desarrolla en dos tiempos, debido a que se inicia con un suceso trágico ocurrido a finales del siglo XIX en un poblado muy cercano a San Francisco, California donde un escuadrón de caballería estadounidense asesina a una familia descendiente de hacendados mexicanos. Doña María, antes de expirar pegó un espantoso grito de venganza que traspasó la tranquilidad de la noche diciendo que prometía nunca irse de esas tierras que eran suyas y que Alejandro, su hijo se encargaría de tomar venganza; es así que desde ese momento, en algunos secretos y oscuros lugares de esas tierras, vive el mal y el enemigo acecha, generalmente conspirando, corrompiendo, siempre a la espera de que llegue Alejandro, allí mas nunca hubo paz.

Once at the party Alex fights with his girlfriend, decides to retire and on the way out has a terrible accident that puts him on the brink of death and his life could only be saved if he manages to be operated on by an excellent doctor.

Thus, Son of the Mind is a story that unfolds entirely between revenge and curses and is described in two times that unite in a mysterious way; in addition it also presents an important place for science and studies on the brain.
El otro tiempo comienza un siglo después entre los años 80, donde se cuenta sobre lo que sucede misteriosamente en la familia Lonsdale, donde el fundador del centro médico de La Paloma, el Doctor Marsh quien de su matrimonio con Ellen procrean un hijo que le colocan por nombre Alex. En él se centra la historia, quien a sus 16 le correspondía asistir al baile de su escuela, ya estudiaba 3er año; al baile asistiría con su novia Lisa y luego de ese baile, debían asistir a una gran fiesta en la hacienda mas grande del pueblo, Alex se negaba a ir, pero su novia y todos los amigos insistían para que accediera, hasta que lo lograron. Una vez en la fiesta Alex pelea con su novia, decide retirarse y en la ida tiene un terrible accidente que lo coloca al borde de la muerte y sólo se le podría salvar la vida si logra ser operado por un excelente médico.
Parecía increíble que a pesar de todos los golpes que recibió Alex en su cabeza durante el accidente aun estuviera con vida para ser trasladado al hospital. Una vez operado por Raymond Torres, un especialista en cerebro. Una vez operado Alex no logra recordar gran parte de lo que ha sido su vida, parecía un robot, todos se ponen de acuerdo para con mucha paciencia ir contándole a fin de que logre recordar o entender; sin embargo, para su familia y amigos es una sorpresa que Alex era el mismo físicamente, a pesar que en sus ojos se puede evidenciar un extraño resplandor blanquecino; además, ahora es mas inteligente que antes y con recuerdos extraños, se alteraba mucho en algunos lugares de forma inexplicable, si los que le rodean pudieran tener acceso dentro de su mente, adentrarse en sus sueños, quedarían horrorizados.
Es así que Hijo de la Mente es una historia que se desarrolla completamente entre venganzas y maldiciones y se describe en dos tiempos que se unen de forma misteriosa; además también se presenta un lugar importante para la ciencia y los estudios sobre el cerebro.
