Saludos mi querida y prestigiosa comunidad de #hive hace muchísimo tiempo que no me paseaba por acá y es que por mis responsabilidades académicas y personales había tenido en descuido a mi blog, sin embargo en este nuevo año he intentado ponerme al corriente y seguir haciendo lo que me gusta ¡crear contenido! Porque la verdad lo disfruto muchísimo y considero que sea cual sea las situaciones que se susciten en el futuro no debo abandonar mi amado espacio virtual, y como dicen por ahí "uno siempre vuelve a donde fue feliz" y por eso justamente es que he vuelto al #HiveBookClub para participar en su concurso número 7 dónde principalmente se nos motiva a preguntarnos a nosotros mismo ¿Qué tan provechoso ha sido el pasado año para nosotros a nivel de lectura?

Yo no les voy a mentir, el año pasado para mí a nivel de lectura fue muy vergonzoso y descuidado porque a penas y tenía algo de tiempo para mí misma, y la lectura no estuvo presente a plenitud en ese lapso de tiempo lo cual es algo de lo que no me enorgullezco porque yo adoro leer, y siempre intento leer un poco para alimentar mi ser pero, en el 2022 lo único que pude leer fueron unos cuantos temas jurídicos muy complejos y poco disfrutables, hojee algunos diccionarios (jurídicos también) y muchísimas leyes de mi país de las cuales, la mayoría no tenía pies ni cabeza asi que se podría decir que si practiqué la lectura pero no la disfrute, y ese es el requisito sine qua non para leer, DISFRUTAR TU LECTURA.

¡AY, QUE DESESPERO LOS TEXTOS JURÍDICOS!

Greetings my dear and prestigious #hive community, it's been a long time since I've been around here and because of my academic and personal responsibilities I had been neglecting my blog, however in this new year I have tried to catch up and continue doing what I love, creating content! Because I really enjoy it very much and I consider that whatever the situations that arise in the future I should not abandon my beloved virtual space, and as they say "one always returns to where he was happy " and that is precisely why I have returned to #HiveBookClub to participate in its contest number 7 where we are mainly motivated to ask ourselves how profitable the past year has been for us in terms of reading?

I'm not going to lie to you, last year for me reading-wise was very shameful and neglected because I barely had any time for myself, and reading was not fully present in that time span which is something I'm not proud of because I love to read, and I always try to read a little to nourish my being but, in 2022 the only thing I could read were a few very complex and not very enjoyable legal topics, I browsed some dictionaries (legal too) and a lot of laws of my country of which, most of them had no head or tail, so you could say that I did practice reading but I did not enjoy it, and that is the sine qua non requirement to read, ENJOY YOUR READING.

Ahora bien, ¿Qué es lo que quiero leer para este 2023? No existen dudas de que tengo a mis candidatos bien definidos, porque aunque no tuve mucha actividad lectora si exploré la sinopsis de algunos libros que llamaron mi atención y que deseo leerlos para este nuevo año, así como también existe uno en mi lista que tengo como propósito terminar de leer de una vez por todas, ya no quiero dejar nada para más tarde. A continuación les mostraré mi lista.

Now, what do I want to read for this 2023? There is no doubt that I have my candidates well defined, because although I did not have much reading activity I did explore the synopsis of some books that caught my attention and that I want to read them for this new year, as well as there is also one on my list that I intend to finish reading once and for all, I do not want to leave anything for later. Here is my list.

"LA DIVINA COMEDIA." – DANTE ALIGHIERI

Este libro es un clásico de la literatura, se considera que su autor, Dante, revolucionó a la literatura a partir de este libro. Muchas reseñas sostienen que esta obra tuvo un impacto moral gigante. Este libro me lo obsequió hace unos años uno de mis grandes amigos al momento de irse del país, y lo conservo con mucho amor. Empecé a leerlo aproximadamente unos 3 años atrás pero no pude terminarlo, es un libro al cual se le debe prestar atención absoluta debido a que hay que leerlo despacio para comprenderlo, es una especie de poema que busca contarnos una historia, a través de etapas que el autor describe como los 7 círculos del infierno, aquí se encuentran descripciones expresas del infierno, el sufrimiento y todos los pecadores que están condenados a él. Además de todo esto, este libro engloba la fe religiosa, convicciones morales y además filosóficas. Algunos escritores sostienen que el propósito de Dante con esta obra era salvar a la humanidad del pecado ¿Lo habrá logrado? Este es un libro que sin dudas espero terminarlo más temprano que tarde, aunque es muy largo, tengo que terminarlo y lo más seguro es que les comparta una reseña por acá.

"THE DIVINE COMEDY." - DANTE ALIGHIERI

This book is a classic of literature, it is considered that its author, Dante, revolutionized literature with this book. Many reviews claim that this work had a gigantic moral impact. This book was given to me a few years ago by one of my great friends when he left the country, and I keep it with much love. I started reading it about 3 years ago but I could not finish it, it is a book to which you must pay absolute attention because you have to read it slowly to understand it, it is a kind of poem that seeks to tell us a story, through stages that the author describes as the 7 circles of hell, here are express descriptions of hell, suffering and all the sinners who are condemned to it. In addition to all this, this book encompasses religious faith, moral and also philosophical convictions. Some writers argue that Dante's purpose with this work was to save mankind from sin, and did he succeed? This is a book that I hope to finish sooner rather than later, although it is very long, I have to finish it and most likely I will share a review here.

"MADAME BOVARY." – GUSTAVE FLAUBERT

Esto es una novela que se publicó como libro en 1857, su género contiene realismo literario, ficción y modernismo en una sola obra. Esta obra ha inspirado a unas cuantas películas y aunque nunca he visto ninguna película, lo que me motiva realmente a leer este libro es que desde mi adolescencia mi mamá lo sacó de sus pertenencias antiguas y me lo obsequió, lo he tenido guardado por mucho tiempo y creo que ya es hora de prestarle atención leyéndolo de una vez por toda, su sinopsis describe lo siguiente: “La soñadora Emma, una joven de provincias casada con Charles Bovary, un hombre aburrido incapaz de complacerla y satisfacerla, buscará la realización de sus sueños en otros amores, pasionales y platónicos…, pero ninguno de ellos logrará calmar su desesperada ansiedad y sus románticas inquietudes.

La publicación de Madame Bovary provocó el escándalo de la burguesía francesa, esclava de mil prejuicios, y el proceso judicial que siguió contribuyó a un éxito editorial sin precedentes. Hoy Madame Bovary es considerada el auténtico pórtico de la modernidad literaria y la obra maestra de la estética realista.”

This is a novel that was published as a book in 1857, its genre contains literary realism, fiction and modernism in one work. This work has inspired a few movies and although I have never seen any movies, what really motivates me to read this book is that since my teenage years my mom took it out of her old belongings and gave it to me as a gift, I have had it in storage for a long time and I think it is time to pay attention to it by reading it once and for all, its synopsis describes the following: "The dreamy Emma, a young provincial girl married to Charles Bovary, a boring man incapable of pleasing and satisfying her, will seek the fulfillment of her dreams in other loves, passionate and platonic..., but none of them will succeed in calming her desperate anxiety and her romantic concerns.

"EL CORONEL NO TIENE QUIEN LE ESCRIBA." – GABRIEL GARCÍA MÁRQUEZ

Mi interés por este libro nació particularmente porque me he topado con unas cuantas imágenes en las redes sociales donde se comparten escritos de esta exitosa obra de García Márquez, que según lo que he averiguado habla sobre la esperanza y la resignación en su escritura sobre las consecuencias de mantener los principios y la dignidad personal en una sociedad corrompida. Y es que este tipo de situaciones sigue vigente en nuestros días, he leído tantos fragmentos de esta obra que han producido que mi interés por leerla crezca, aparte de todo eso, Gabriel García Márquez es uno de mis autores favoritos, he leído buena parte de sus obras y me encanta la forma en la que nos transporta de un lugar a otro con perfecta redacción, transmite y te hace sentir dentro de la obra, es como si estuviésemos viviendo un sueño. Es por ello que me mociona leer este libro específicamente en el transcurso de este año.

"THE COLONEL HAS NO ONE TO WRITE TO HIM". - GABRIEL GARCÍA MÁRQUEZ

My interest in this book was born particularly because I have come across a few images in social networks where writings of this successful work of García Márquez are shared, which according to what I have found out talks about hope and resignation in his writing about the consequences of maintaining the principles and personal dignity in a corrupt society. I have read so many fragments of this work that have made my interest in reading it grow, apart from all that, Gabriel García Márquez is one of my favorite authors, I have read most of his works and I love the way he transports us from one place to another with perfect writing, he transmits and makes you feel inside the work, it is as if we were living a dream. That is why I am motivated to read this book specifically in the course of this year.

Bueno amigos lectores, con esta corta lista de 3 libros me he propuesto quitarme las telarañas y volver a uno de mis hobbies predilectos ¡leer! Les aseguro que compartiré mis experiencias de lectura con ustedes y al mismo tiempo me convertiré en un usuario más activo dentro de esta maravillosa comunidad.
