Mi Experiencia en la Filven 2023 (Feria Internacional del Libro de Venezuela) - SPA / ENG -
¡Hola mis queridos amigos lectores! Espero estén muy bien, les cuento que hoy tuve la oportunidad de visitar la Filven 2023, la cual este año se presentó bastante retirada de mi casa en un hermoso lugar, asi que estoy por aquí para compartir mi experiencia con ustedes. ¡Espero les guste!
Hello my dear reader friends! I hope you are well, I tell you that today I had the opportunity to visit Filven 2023, which this year was quite far from my house in a beautiful place, so today I'm here to share my experience with you. I hope you like it!
Esta es mi segunda Filven, ya que el año pasado también tuve la oportunidad de disfrutarla mucho más cerca de casa. Esta vez mi experiencia fue un poco distinta ya que para llegar realmente fue una odisea porque nos perdimos 2 veces jajaja pero cuando llegamos aunque mi tiempo fue corto adentro, la disfruté bastante. Tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar varios stands con editoriales de varios paises de latinoamérica, de los cuales les mostraré más adelante ya que primero me gustaría contarles que este año nuestro país invitado fue Colombia, por lo que en la entrada habían unos hermosos carteles. En el trascurso de la tarde iban a pasar un evento de homenaje a el gran escritor Gabriel García Márquez en el cual creo que iban a rifar libros (ya lo hicieron en días anteriores) sin embargo, yo no me pude quedar porque tenía otro compromiso pero supongo que estuvo muy bonito ya que cuando llegué lo estaban preparando y no me dejaron entrar a la sala.
This is my second Filven, because last year I also had the opportunity to enjoy it much closer to home. This time my experience was a little different because getting there was really an ordeal because we got lost twice hahaha but when we arrived, although my time was short, I enjoyed it a lot. I had the opportunity to enjoy several stands with publishers from various Latin American countries, which I will show you later because first I would like to tell you that this year our guest country was Colombia, so at the entrance there were some beautiful posters. During the afternoon they were going to hold a tribute event to the great writer Gabriel García Márquez in which I think they were going to raffle books (they already did it in previous days) however, I couldn't stay because I had another commitment but I guess it was very nice because when I arrived they were preparing it and they didn't let me enter the room.
Esta vez no tuve la oportunidad de visitar tantos stands como la vez pasada ya que no supe dirigirme y me perdí una de las salas de exposiciones sin embargo, disfruté mucho los stands que vi, en especial uno que pertenece a una librería llamada "La Casa Del Libro" el cual tenía muchos libros de autoras favoritas como Alice Kellen, Darlis Stefany, Colleen Hoover, Sarah J. Maas, entre otras, así como también otras novelas que me encantan como las de Disney. Particularmente me llamó la atención la edición ilustrada de Nosotros en la Luna de Alice Kellen, por lo que estoy pensando comprarlo en Diciembre.
This time I didn't have the opportunity to visit as many stands as last time because I didn't know how to get there and I missed one of the exhibition halls. However, I really enjoyed the stands I saw, especially one that belongs to a bookstore called "The House From the Book" which had many books by favorite authors such as Alice Kellen, Darlis Stefany, Colleen Hoover, Sarah J. Maas, among others, as well as other novels that I love such as those by Disney. The illustrated edition of Us on the Moon by Alice Kellen particularly caught my attention, so I'm thinking about buying it in December.
Los demás stands eran de algunas editoriales extranjeras, como Argentinas, Colombianas y Españolas, también habían de algunos sitios de cultura como la biblioteca nacional y la biblioteca popular, a continuación, un pequeño vistazo a lo que allí había.
The other stands were from some foreign publishers, such as Argentine, Colombian and Spanish, there were also some cultural sites such as the national library and the popular library, below, a small look at what was there.
Realmente hubiera querido ver más stands con más variedad de libros sin embargo, me perdí una parte de los stands porque estaban algo lejos de la zona en la que estuve, y tampoco me supieron decir en dónde quedaba así que me sentí muy mal cuando pasé por ahí en el interior de un autobús de regreso a casa y les confieso que me dieron ganas de bajarme sin embargo, no pude ya que iba tarde a mi otro compromiso. Es una lástima que esto se acabe hoy ya que es uno de mis eventos favoritos ya que nos hace amar más la lectura y nos muestra parte de la cultura internacional. No tengo idea realmente si lograré estar aquí en mi país para la próxima Filven ya que emigraré el próximo año, así que ha sido una experiencia increíble (aunque corta) el haber disfrutado de esta edición la cual estuvo preciosa y ha sido un gran placer compartirla con ustedes, y no me puedo despedir sin antes darles un pequeño vistazo a la hermosa exposición de esculturas de Fernando Botero que habían expuestas, la cual también estuvo increíble pero, se las compartiré por completo en otra ocasión.
I really would have liked to see more stands with a greater variety of books, however, I missed part of the stands because they were a bit far from the area I was in, and they couldn't tell me where it was either, so I felt very bad when I passed by there inside a bus returning home and I confess that I wanted to get off, however, I couldn't because I was late for my other commitment. It is a shame that this ends today since it is one of my favorite events because it makes us love reading more and shows us part of international culture. I really have no idea if I will be able to be here in my country for the next Filven because I will emigrate next year, so it has been an incredible experience (although short) to have enjoyed this edition which was beautiful and it has been a great pleasure to share it with you, and I can't say goodbye without first giving you a little look at the beautiful exhibition of sculptures by Fernando Botero that was on display, which was also incredible, but I will share it with you in full on another occasion.
