We are back with another Book Review contest !
This month, we will have a theme!
Since there are two big celebrations in February, the Chinese New Year and Valentine’s day, we would like to make this our theme. We want to appreciate chinese literature and chinese authors alongside celebrating love the month of love ♥️
Participants can choose either ;
- Chinese literature
- A book from Chinese author
- Romance
- Love
You can choose any books that you like but make sure it contains those themes. Feel free also to pick non-fiction. To participate, here are some rules to keep in mind. We consider these rules during the judging process.
Prizes
1st place: 30 Hive
2nd place: 20 Hive
3rd place: 10 Hive
How to Participate
- Write or record your book review.
- Include the tag #hbcfebruaryreview in the first of the four tags.
- The post has to be posted in the Hive Book Club Community. /trending/hive-180164
- Do not forget to write your entry in this post comment section.
Contest Rules
- Any genre is welcome.
- Billingual post is welcome.
- Minimum 500 words.
- Video entry is welcome, and you can post it via 3speak.
- Must examine and express an opinion about the intrinsic and extrinsic values of the book. Would you recommend the book? Why?
- Avoid spoilers.
- Correct spelling count.
- Judging is based on the voice, creativity, and content of the review.
- Comment your entry in the competition’s opening.
- You have until 27th February to submit your entry.
- Plagiarism will be penalized and will automatically result in disqualification.
The contest ends on 27th February.
The judging process will take about a couple of days. So be patient to wait for the result.
