The last month I decided to visit the library closest to my house in order to read a book that would impact me with its words and ways of writing. When I arrived I asked the receptionist what she could recommend me to read and she showed me the psychological novel Crime and Punishment, written by the Russian author Fyodor M. Dostoevsky. The story of this book focuses on the life of Rodion Raskolnikov, who abandons his university studies because he did not have enough money to pay for them and his mother and sister, although they helped him with some money, were only enough for food and basic necessities.
Young Raskolnikov lived in an apartment in a large five-story building, but he owed a large debt to his landlady. She lived downstairs and her kitchen was next to the stairs, so every time the boy went downstairs to go out to the street he had eye contact with her and that bothered him because she hit him and verbally abused him too and this put him in a very bad mood and at the same time he felt very humiliated because he was not able to pay that big debt he had for a long time. As the days went by, he began to feel very tormented with this situation to the point of creating a great nervous depression with consequences such as separating himself from his social life with friends and people closest to him because he simply had no desire to see the owner and no one else either.
He thought carefully and came to the conclusion that the solution was in his hands, that he could do even the most cruel, vile, despicable and savage act to save his skin and get out of his grief and anguish so devastating. When night came, his macabre thoughts disturbed him again and he spontaneously got out of bed to carry out what he had planned in mind. He looked for an old and dirty shirt and sewed a cloth handle to put the axe and with which he would execute the old woman. He climbed the stairs on the right side until he reached the room of the old lady Aliona and knocks on her door several times; she opens it and he kicks the door open and pulls her out of the house. He tells her he has a silver cigarette case to bring her to relieve her debt and wants her to inspect it. She goes to the light and sees a white envelope tied tightly with some kind of rope and at the same time turns her back to the young man. He proceeds to unbutton his coat and pick up the axe and hits her with full force in the back of the head; he then hesitated as to whether she was really dead and gave her two more axes filling the floor with blood.
My opinion with respect to this synthesis is that one cannot resort to violence against another human being and deprive him of his only life to solve economic problems that affect our day to day life. We all have the right to live our life to the fullest until the end of our days without someone being able to attempt against it with violent and negative attitudes. Instead, we must focus on working during the working days and work our way little by little to achieve all our goals and pay the debts we have pending.

Hoy en la mañana decidí visitar la biblioteca más cercana a mi casa con el fin de leer un libro que me impactara con sus palabras y formas de escribir. Al llegar le pregunté a la recepcionista que me podía recomendar para leer y me mostró la novela de carácter psicológico Crimen y Castigo,escrita por el autor ruso Fiódor M. Dostoievski. La historia de este libro se centra en la vida de Rodion Raskolnikov, el cual abandona sus estudios universitarios porque no tenía capital suficiente para pagarlo y su mamá y su hermana , aunque lo ayudaban con algo de dinero sólo le alcanzaba para sus gastos en alimentos y necesidades básicas.
El joven Raskolnikov vivía en un apartamento de un edificio grande con cinco pisos pero tenía una gran deuda monetaria con la dueña de su casa. Ella vivía abajo de su hogar y su cocina estaba próxima a las escaleras, entonces que cada vez que el muchacho bajaba a salir a la calle tenía contacto visual con ella y eso a él lo molestaba porque ella le daba golpes y lo maltrataba verbalmente también y esto lo ponía de muy mal humor y a la vez se sentía muy humillando porque no era capaz de pagar esa gran deuda que tenía desde hace tiempo. Con el paso de los días se empezó a sentir muy atormentado con esta situación al punto de crearle un gran depresión nerviosa con consecuencias como separarse de su vida social con amigos y personas más allegadas porque simplemente no tenía ningún deseo de ver a la dueña y tampoco a nadie más.
Pensó detenidamente y llegó a la conclusión de que la solución la tenía en sus manos, que podía realizar hasta el acto más cruel,vil,despadiado y salvaje para salvar su pellejo y salir de su pena y angustia tan demoledora. Llegada la noche sus macabros pensamientos volvieron a molestarlo y de manera espontánea se levantó de la cama para llevar a cabo lo que tenía planeado en mente. Busco una camisa vieja y sucia y cosio un asa de tela para poner el hacha y con el cual ejecutaría a la anciana. Subió las escaleras por la parte derecha hasta llegar a la habitación de la señora mayor Aliona y tocó a su puerta varias veces; ella abre y el tira la puerta sacándola hacia fuera de su casa. El le dice que tiene una pitillera de plata para traerle y aliviar su deuda y quiere que ella lo inspeccione. Ella se dirige a la luz y ve un sobre blanco amarrado fuertemente con una especie de soga y a la vez le da la espalda a el joven. El procede a desabrocharse el abrigo y coger el hacha y le da con toda su fuerza en la parte de atrás de la cabeza; luego dudó en si estaba realmente muerta y le dió dos hachazos más llenando el piso de sangre.
Mi opinión con respecto a esta síntesis es que no se puede recurrir a la violencia contra otro ser humano y privarlo de su única vida para resolver problemas económicos que afecten nuestro día a dia. Todos tenemos derecho a vivir nuestra vida plenamente hasta el final de nuestros días sin que alguien pueda atentar contra ella con actitudes violentas y negativas. En vez de eso hay que enfocarse en trabajar los días laborales y abrirse camino poco a poco para lograr todas nuestras metas y pagar las deudas que tenemos pendientes.
