What is your favorite time or place to read? /¿Cuál es tu momento o lugar favorite para leer?

La lectura representa uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos, no se hace inusual verme en la calle con uno que otro ejemplar en la mochila o bolso, y encontrar en mi cuarto decenas de libros por doquier. Unas buenas páginas junto al café del desayuno, cuando la familia no despierta con ánimos de mucha comunicación, se hace ideal para las mañanas; las tardes tranquilas, acariciado por la suave brisa del mar y la participación del sonido del oleaje como música de fondo, en la costa, mejora mucho la experiencia. El silencio de la noche, en mi cama, antes de dormir, para adentrarme en la historia y encontrarme cara a cara con los personajes en el sueño, se convierte a diario en un fiel aliado para disfrutar de una buena novela.

Reading represents one of my favorite hobbies, it is not unusual to see me on the street with the odd copy in my backpack or bag, and to find dozens of books everywhere in my room. Solo quien lee: conoce y disfruta el placer que despierta acariciar con ternura el cartón o cartulina de la portada y sentir mediante el tacto cada hoja de papel, mediante el olfato el olor a polvo y humedad en los más viejos, o el aroma a tinta en los más nuevos, la constante guerra contra las polillas, insectos malvados destructores de tesoros y los inoportunos ataques de alergia que provocan los ácaros. Sentirse parte de la historia, enamorarse u odiar a muerte a cada uno de sus personajes, reír o llorar con las tramas, sufrir ataques de ansiedad constantemente por querer saber en qué termina y acabar gritando si no nos gusta como el escritor finaliza su obra, vive todo aquel apasionado a sumergirse entre libros.

El libro es mi compañero, mi fiel aliado. Anda y desanda conmigo a donde vaya. Para leer necesito que reine el silencio y la tranquilidad, fuera suelo leer sentado en el césped bajo la sombra de un árbol, en un parque o en un salón, soy de los pocos que aún frecuenta bibliotecas y librerías, no me gusta el libro digital, necesito sentir el papel para concentrarme. En las noches, acostado, antes de dormir suelo adentrarme en algunas páginas hasta que me entre sueño. En el baño, mantengo una pequeña colección de títulos junto a la taza para repasar mientras… ya saben.

Suelo enfocarme mucho en la intriga que genera una buena trama, y al finalizar el libro analizar cuidadosamente la evolución y el desarrollo de cada personaje, las enseñanzas y los mensajes que he podido sacar de ello e intercambiar criterios con mis amistades lectoras en largos debates, acompañado siempre de música clásica y un buen café.

I usually focus a lot on the intrigue that a good plot generates, and at the end of the book I carefully analyze the evolution and development of each character, the teachings and the messages that I have been able to get from it and exchange criteria with my reading friends in long debates. always accompanied by classical music and a good coffee.
